Impressed by the Easter Eggs they've included, like Nobot the ghost droid in TPM who lurks in A weird haunted house on Most Espa

I was on Jakku last night and kinda broke the game a little bit. There’s a fenced in area next to a tall platform where you find the Wandering Wookiee, and you have to use the Force to stack some platforms on top of each other to get up there. Well, once I was up there, I hopped down on the other side of the fenced in area, and… there’s no way out. There’s some kind of invisible wall that keeps you from being able to use the Force on the stackable objects on the other side of the fence, and the gate can’t be opened. I had to quit the game and reload my save to get back out.

Later on in the story, the gate gets destroyed in a sequence. That’s when you’re supposed to be able to get in there. Pretty minor, but still interesting they didn’t put in some kind of workaround for it.

Well the good news is ROTJ gave me access to all the scavanger equipment so I don't have to play TFA to 100% the rest of the saga!
Will probably do the ST after there's nothing left to do with what I got.

This does kind of annoy me with the realization that the PT is the only trilogy that leaves the Scavengers out to dry. Meaning You have to play through 6 films in chronological order before that class becomes remotely useful.

Off the top of my head, would it have been that difficult to (say for example), give the Jawa's something to do on the path to Anakin locating Shmi? Yes its like a second long shot in the movie but they've expanded on scene's before. Let us play with the Jawa exploring their Sand Crawler giving an excuse to drop the three plans you need. End it by having them show Anakin a map of where he can find Shmi. Simple. Besides the Tusken camp seems a bit too close to the Larse Farm anyways. I get they got other work to do, and I don't mean to be overly critical. I just wish I could have gotten this stuff earlier.

I recommend you play the ST, independently of how you view the films, you may be pleasantly surprised

So when y’all get a smuggling side mission in space, do you get a warning message at the hyperspace loading screen, then proceed to encounter an extremely low-poly capital ship that you can no clip through? Like, what even is this game?

Every time. This is definitely missing a lot of polish. Fun game, though.

Yep. I get a strangely insubstantial Lucrehulk turn up that I can shoot through.

Currently have a quest on Utapau bugged, it doesn't register the last collection, but this is pretty much an exception.

It's generally accepted a big game will have bugs, this is a big game so it does, but they've been minor for me.

@Fredrik Vallestrand - what are you trying to do, use the Scavenger tools?

    Edit - in other news:

    I did the Scramble Runs!

The first one of these is OK, seems straight forward, but the ones that follow? Total bastards. Your view is compromised, there are no course indicators, it often won't show you the way - all against the clock. And getting the gold time to get the character unlock is very tight.

How did I end up doing them? One - don't boost all the time. Two - try to ensure you have view of the next gate or group of in sight.

This combination enabled me to nab Dengar, Shmi, Aftab Ackbar and someone else I can't recall.

Also managed to do the race on Canto Bight to get Captain Canady. The trick on that one is to not watch the clock but take your time on spotting the gates, as Canto Bight is very enclosed.

The last race I went back to, having previously failed on, was the bouncing one in Mos Eisley. Managed to do it this time.

I had to unlock them via a story mission in RotJ. If you started in the PT it sounds like there isn't an equivelent PT opportunity. You'd also be able to learn them with Rey at the start of the ST.

TPM you mean? I don't think you get them at all in the entire PT.

For all that can seem unfair in gameplay terms, in story terms it makes sense:

    PT - No scavenging
    OT - Ewoks
    ST - Rey

Ahch-To is a poorly designed mess and by far the worst planet in the game.

I don’t like that I had so few incentives to actually explore the island (no missions), but that’s the case with a lot of environments.

The layout of it is terrible, getting around is a hassle. There will be a kyber brick somewhere below you and it’ll take you half an hour to figure out how to actually get to it. Lots of Skyrim hopping up mountains and cliffs.

That I don't find too bad - it's the "find and shoot targets very fast" that I find harder.

Though I really like how it looks so running around it lots works for me.

It’s probably my lack of attachment to the source material combined with some minor burnout setting in, but I’m definitely finding the sequel trilogy to be the least fun out of all the episodes. I’m almost done with TLJ and Canto Bight has been the only highlight thus far, I really enjoyed exploring that hub world.

I'm far from a fan of TLJ but I enjoyed exploring the worlds of it here.

    In other news...

Two weeks and 73 hours later, I've hit an excellent stop point on Lego Star Wars.

It's far from done, I'm on 905 of 1166 Kyber bricks, there's various challenges and puzzles left and all the FreePlay levels.

I do have all the ships and capital ships, all but one of the 380 characters - due to a bugged quest. Have all the main categories done along with 16 of 19 datacards.

Because TT released a broken package that took an 8/10 game and made it a 6/10 mess.

I was going for the level challenge on Better Call Maul to defeat Darth Maul in less than ten minutes. In the final area with the red barriers, I sprinted past the final one before it closed. The game didn’t like that very much. Maul was frozen in spot, and attacking him did no damage to his health. But since you have to do a puzzle to open up the red barrier, there was no going back. Even switching to Obi-Wan, who was still behind it, didn’t work because the game permanently locks you on to your opponent in a boss battle, so I couldn’t move the camera and let him do the puzzle instead. Had to restart the entire level.

My "favourite" glitch so far was the Biggs mission ending in a space battle where there were no health squares or targeting areas for enemy ships - however, Biggs, the character I was supposed to be protecting, was given a targeting square. Real nightmare, that one was.
