i feel ya, kee. try collecting. at first, they think you're trying to sell something. then, they realize you're not, and that technically they owe you, and that they have to pay you, but there's usually a reason they *didn't* pay you in the first place, and so they see you as harassing them in a time which is already difficult for them...*realizes she is about to go on a rant* can you tell i just got home from work?

 

*sighs* No kidding...why do I have to be so very much in love with money? Or well, with the thigns I can get for it...

i feel with you, both of you...but let's think of the bright side of life...soon it's september! *wiggles with eyebrows*

 

for me, it's why does rent have to cost so much? and food? and bills? and all that other stuff?

in september my classes start again....but i am still happy about it being almost here, because red will be back with more!

 

I love September, and not only because we have a nice postie to look forward to. I'm inte Autumn, I suppose...

 

*dances a happy dance* Got my comp back last week, and now my regular net connection is back too. I am SOOO happy!!! Can you imagine the loads and loads of fanfic that I've missed? The friends who I need to contact? Things to be done? Yay!

The High Command has been enlarged to 7 members from the former 6. Captain Terrence Farr is the new Communications/Tactical advisor.

4. Rogue Group

Commander Narra is taking volunteers to form an elite strike team provisionally named Rogue Group. Candidates will be selected on the basis of flying and shooting tests. For more information contact Commander Narra.

How are you two, rogues? Yesterday we got an interesting piece of information on the Council. It's really not that confidential, but don't go babbling about it, okay? At least not until it's all over the news.

It seems that three days ago Mr Tall'n'Ugly stormed out of an important meeting. Since then all his appointments have been cancelled and his secretary is not taking any messages. Society columns have begun to take interest.

And, most important of all, Mr X at the palace (you know who!) says he did not appear at the Emperor's weekly gathering, upon which His Sleaziness was most distraught ...

Where could the old bugger have gone? Wherever it is, I hope it's a deep place with lots of fire.

i can't really remember what was already on b4 and what not but it doesn't matter...i still loved it. specially the bit bout darth daddy and leia being the same when it comes to lukie's spelling. and those cute annoncements the rebels have...*ggg*

and now let's come to the important stuff...was that a spam mail or...+coughs* is his lordship searching for a nice playmate? *coughs* *holds up hands* i'm certainly willing...i'm not even human! (or so i've been told by friends)

 

That was, apparently, a spam mail sent to everybody whose name begins with Darth. A while ago (in July or so when I wrote this little e-mail) I got from several yahoogroups (yokelgroups?) a spam mail with "Meet a special someone outside your race" or "Meet a millionaire in your area" or suchlike.

 

lol...i get several of those on bloody hotmail...luckily i don't really use that account. it was prolly just me and my wishful thinking that got me to think more of the mail...

 

She's back! All hail the great evil...*frowns*...the great evil...alien who is so evil no one can speak her name!

That was great - I loved the spam mail! Relieved to know that he did not sign up for it, though. Kinda sleeazy (sp? And don't go all Leia and Vader on me, I have a perfectly good excuse for not being able to spell English words correctly!).

Missed Jix - then again, I always do. And of course, I'm in the middle of a Jix-loving-streak right now. I mean, more than uusally...Re-read the comic adaption of SOTE this morning, and that guy...he just rocks!

Requesting a meeting, *snort*! Really, how thick can you be? This is getting funny.

Luke, I don't know what to say to you. Maybe Mon could give you advice regarding further course of action. The man seems to be willing to divulge information to you, and that is something, I feel. Keep up your contact, if possible; but be careful, it could be a trap. What is this training proposal of his that he keeps yakking about?

As for spelling. I'd never have thought I'd ever say this, but Luke, I tend to agree with him. You NEED to make that effort.

This meeting has been convened to discuss the situation arisen as a result of electronic correspondence between Luke Skywalker and Lord Darth Vader.

Mon Mothma commends Skywalker for his bravery for opening himself to the Dark Lord, and points out Lord Vader's apparent openness and unusual willingness, even eagerness, to continue the said correspondence. She invites ideas how to turn the situation into a political advantage for the Alliance.

Princess Organa expresses her doubts regarding Lord Vader's openness. Her Highness
points at certain incongruities in his messages, his refusal to give a direct answer to Skywalker's question, and his insistence upon a meeting. Her Highness says it is, in fact, doubtful that the messages are actually from Lord Vader.

Skywalker insists that he is convinced that they are.

Mon Mothma proposes to proceed from the assumption that it is, in fact, Lord Vader with whom Skywalker is in correspondence, and speculates how much information Lord Vader might actually be willing to reveal to Luke.

General Dodonna demands all contacts with the Dark Lord ceased immediately, as it would constitute a threat to the moral purity of the Alliance.

Cpt. Farr points out that it would be senseless to expect any meaningful strategic or tactical information.

Princess Organa points out that personal information could be put to use to try to analyse a battle leader's possible tactics.

Gen. Rieekan denounces the plan, saying that the privacy of personal correspondence is an inalienable part of a democratic society that is the goal of the Alliance, and that should they back out from their ideals, they would be no better than the Imperials.

Skywalker agrees with Gen. Rieekan.

Mon Mothma, Cpt. Farr, Princess Organa list several counterarguments.

General Dodonna reiterates his point of view of ceasing personal contact with Vader and not exposing young Skywalker to the Dark Lord's harmful influences.

Skywalker protests being used.

Mon Mothma and Cpt. Farr disagree with General Dodonna.

Skywalker expresses unwillingness to continue said correspondence unless he is guaranteed a certain level of privacy, especially with a view of possible information concerning his father, his mentor, himself, or Lord Vader.

General Dodonna walks out of the meeting.

N.A, That last post was priceless (especially the minutes from C3P0-- who would have thought such a dry combination, the minutes of a meeting and threepio, would have had me ready to burst out in laughter?). You really get to see those little moments in the characters lives that make them human. Your posts are getting even more interesting and well written-- keep going!

Umm, I just have one stupid question...who is Jix? Is he from EU?

 

Yes, Jix is from EU - from the "Shadow Stalker" comic book. I understand he is also present in "Shadows of the Empire" comic. Wrenga Jixton or "Jix" is a former imperial who is now Vader's secret agent and assassin. Hooever, he would have been quite obscure, had not Djuva and Kee (and Llarian too)popularised him in their stories.
