Thanks to Quentin for pointing me in this direction over at the Wook. It looks like it's time for Series 6 --- Chak Fel, Head of State Jagged Fel, Cherith Fel, Raynar Thul, Mirta Gev, Valin Horn, and more. Whoa.

I am pleased on a deep and fundamental level.

 

The only way this could be better is if Cal Omas was in it.

LI, you really should have made a separate thread for this. I mean, this is epic on the Waru-scale.

 

And that's why I felt Abeloth should never be depicted by an artist. She's "cute" evil.

Hi everyone, Shea here. I have all of my Galaxy 6 cards scanned, so I will post them here as soon as I get off work, if you like. Unfortunately, I did not scan any of my Galaxy 7 cards.

 

Oh. My. God.

I'm not sure I'm going to be able to take Abeloth seriously anymore. At all.

 

Forget Abeloth, I continue to be mesmerized by the plethora of Fel cards.

 

Great work, Shea. The Fellish fans will forever be in your debt.

 

I do have a soft spot for the the Fels.

Serious time: that is not what I wanted the first official pic of Abeloth to be. Too cartoony: Abeloth just doesn't translate to this kind of style. I hope Chris Trevas is doing a pic of her. That would be amazing.

I don't even know how to express my level of happiness.

 

Cool stuff, but I've been meaning to ask for a while. What are these? Are they random inserts in some other cards packs that only on of each exists of? Or are they more readily available than that?

 

These sketch cards are randomly inserted into packs of card sets (in this case, Galaxy: 6), and they are one of a kind. The odds of you pulling a sketch card from a pack depends on how many artists contribute to a card set.

@Havac--really happy you like. I am a HUGE Fel fan, going back to the days of The Making of Baron Fel. Jaina and Jag are my OTP 4 Life.

 

Thats kinda what I figured, which is a little bit dissapointing none the less. Great job in any case. I think the concept is sound, I just like them to be a little more available.

 

That pic of Abeloth is at once hilarious and horrifying. Hilarious because it looks like something straight out of the Marvel run, horrifying for the same reason. Really don't like the idea of the "big bad villain of the grimdark FOTJ" looking like that, but at the same time it's pretty funny. The other portraits are 100% cool though.
