From what I remember, the regular version was fully functional. They've updated both since then though, so I can't say for sure. I bought the Pro version about a year ago when it went on sale. I've had no problem with it, other than some admin functions being missing.
Free version of tapatalk works great. I'm using it now. Have not personally missed any functionality.
I'm a Forum Runner guy myself. I like it as it switches between a few of my favorite boards easily, but unfortunately doesn't always show graphics and avatars.
I've downloaded TapaTalk and I'm not getting great results, I find it hard to find the boards that way. I will keep trying it to see if I can figure it out. I"m a technotard
The part about it that I like is that anything I would normally get notified for via e-mail shows up on my phone. Protip: subscribe to our forum. It's way easier to find that way.
How do I subscribe to our forum? I'm having to navigate all the time. Also, is there a way to access emoticon button list, or any other handy formatting thingies?
When you're in our forum (with Denver at the top) press the three little dots in the upper right corner and that should let you subscribe. I have been unable to determine any handy formatting things other than image and link code (push the + to the left of the reply window to access those). The above is for iOS.
