Get Your Custom Text ASCII-Atised

Well, as most of you know, flamingtext is one of the biggest dealers to customized text, even webmasters with grapic software, like me, use it every once and a while for their Star Wars text as in symbols, Distant Galaxy, Republic Fonts, and more, but i found something awesome today we could use at the forums here. They have their own customizable ASCII Art page. For you that don't know what ASCII art is, it is a picture or text made out of little letters in itself. You can view it here. Have fun!

Your ASCII art isn't showing up properly. Why? The width of every character isn't the same in the fontset used on this page. Therefore, everything appears distorted. Also, you can only have one space between any two characters. If the ASCII art has two or more spaces between characters in a line, it will be reduced to one space.

To properly convert ASCII art to work on the JC, it takes a lot of time, and a lot of extra coding. Even then, it doesn't look as good as in its original form.

I agree. I afficially retire from trying to make ASCII at JC. Actually, i didn't mean for anyone to make any ASCII for JC in the first place. The digital font is theo nly one that can work at JC. The problem that is causeing all this is you cna only make oen space at a tiem and you can't make a space at all on the front of the line.

 

C'mon, just because we can't psot ASCII at JC doesen't mean we can't talk about it.

Change any picture to ASCII

You can make the stuff show up, if you edit it. It's for this one at least, just a matter of adding .'s and spaces. A lot of them. In the right places.

Not perfect but there's no way I'm spending more time to perfect it. Why did I bother doing this? I have no clue.
