Goblin to Kosh


"And what will happen to the galaxy when your people are no more?"

Goblin smiled slightly she could hear the questions rattling away in side his mind that remained unvoiced. She marvelled at the intelligence and rate of the questions that rolled through his mind like a severe storm.

Quietly she replied, "Time will continue on, as will the stars, the planets and life. Though with time all will decay and eventually die." Peering into his eyes she continued, "And space will be as it once was, empty, cold and lifeless."

She could hear the questions begin rattling at a frenzied pace. And to calm his fears she whispered, "I suppose it is possible that a race, which race I am unsure of, will next achieve the knowledge and be given the power to create the planets and stars that provide life. But even I do not know all the workings of the universe, myself."

A second question escaped his lips to Goblin, "Who was Kav?"

The second question made her fall into silence. It wasn't hard for her to explain that Kav was once her husband, the man she loved more than words could ever be created to describe. But reliving the past, made her dance along the bleakness that was her grief.

How could she ever talk about the fate of her loved ones? Loved ones who gave her such joy and with their deaths give her such pain and suffering? How could anyone be able to understand the loneliness she felt around her?

How do you explain suffering not only the loss of a beloved childhood sweetheart but to know he was the reason and the cause for destroying all. Your life, your hopes, your dreams, and...your loved ones?

How can she tell the story and not fade into the darkness? The darkness that consumed her senses and left her blind with rage.

Ic: Jag
Jag saw a hanger, but mostly he saw Jaina... Jaina the girl of his dreams, his head hurt his heart snapped and his stomach wiggled. "Why are we here?"

 

IC: Ben Skywalker
The blades flashed in the darkness, the battle went out of Ben's room or cell, and into what appered to be the main hanger, the star ships were of no councern to either of the fighters for they were both busy,parrying, slashing and blocking. With a block to his side Ben aimed an attack to her leg then pulled it back at the last second and brought it up through Lomi's middle, she swung her body aside and slashed at his head, he ducked. Ben fought with the full power of the force, it was like a river flowing threw him and the ripples told him what he should do, what Lomi was going to do, and what should could use on ben if he did the worng block. But having the force so strongly in him, and being at such a young age, Ben was slowly losing. Then with an act of despiration Ben jumped swung his blade at her head then when she blocked he used the full power of the force to bash her into the wall.
"You have fought well Ben, but you can not defeat me, no matter how many times you bash me into the wall." She stood up and reactivated her light saber
"I know I can't win, but there is no point in not trying."
"A good point, you become more of a jedi every second, but now it is time to die."
So they continued with the battle red vs blue, good vs evil, darkness vs light. After ten minutes of battle ben found him seld in an entrance to a cave. there was a long lege and then a sudden drop. Into the darkness. Lomi forced him forther then Ben jumped away and stood his ground, he was only eleven feet away from the edge at the most. His cells burnt, and burnt the force was causing much damage to his body, but he was alive. Then Lomi zapped him with lightning. Ben dropped his saber, and tried to reflect it, it was to strong...It was causing more damage then good. Ben used the force to attach his saber to his belt. Then Lomi came right next to him and increased her lightnings strenght. Ben could not hold it anymore, it hurt worse then he ever knew before. So Ben ended it. With every last bit on energy he blasted bothhimself and lomi. Ben fell into the darkness and his presence in the force was gone. Lomi hit the wall with a ton of force, but nothing was to badly injured. She got up,then relized, how much her back hurt.

Aria

Aria watched as the fighter flew just above the canopy of an evergreen forest. Three moons out of the five were visible on the dome of stars above. Ahead were mountainous lowlands, stretching out in rocky openness. It was beautiful. Aria cooed softly at how it all looked. Probably all sorts of things in the forests.

The ship slowly decelerated for a vertical landing. Orosul guided the old vessel to rest in a small valley, undetectable until one was right on top of it. He shut the ship down and unstrapped himself from the seat. Orosul opened the canopy and jjmped onto the wing, as Aria sniffed the air, which was thick with the scent from the trees. She was about to unstrap herself, when ee motioned for Aria to stay in the cockpit.

"It's a cold night. Get some rest; you'll need it," he said quietly as he closed the canopy. Aria began to pout. "But...." She didnt want rest. She wanted to explore. "Sleep." Orosul said. With a sigh..she snuggled back down into the chair, and curled up within the blankets. Deep down, she had an idea what he was going to do. Two could play at this game. She closed her eyes, as if she was indeed going off to sleep."

'Snark.' she thought to herself.

IC:

Orosul ran off into the darkness, looking back once only to make sure Aria hadn't touched anything. She hadn't. Dang, it was cold. He slowed to a walk and drew his cloak tighter around him. Something was happening. The Force itself had the tremors of anger coursing through.

Orosul jumped up onto a boulder to sit down. As he did, the long wails of a wolf pack echoed in the distance. Not much of a distance, though. He dropped from the rock, then scanned the vicinity. He had the distinct feeling of being followed.

Orosul pulled a shred of black cloth from his belt and tied it around his head to cover his eyes. Ducking behind the boulder, he waited.

Aria

Aria laid still in the cockpit, as Orosul dissapeared into the darkness.
Once he was out of sight, she sat up. She heard the sound of some animal off in the distance.

Aria climbed carefully over the seat, to move where Orosul had sat down. She moved, and carefully pushed the control to open the canopy. The canopy slid open. She looked out, and sniffed the air. It smelled nice. She looked in the direction where Orosul had dissapeared.

Aria quietly climed out of the ship, and presesd the button to close the canopy. What has Orosul trying to hide from her? Was he worried about something they might find on the planet? Aria scanned the area around her.

It was cold, so she pulled her cloak tighter around her. She grabbed an extra cloak as well. If he didnt want to admit it, Orosul might need her help. She would hang back, and follow. She waited a bit, eating a small bit of food, before she began to follow his 'trail'. She moved slowly, letting the Force guide her, as well as her eyes and ears. Soon, she came upon an open area, and she froze. Something felt ... funny, and her trail didnt seem to go any further.

Aria slipped into the forest.


Orosul

 

IC:

Orosul felt around him. The trees had some sort of dampening effect on his sensing. Crap. He stealthily climbed onto the boulder again, then jumped into a nearby tree, with only as much noise as a breeze would. He traveled this way, following his quarry's impression in the Force. Slowly, he removed the blindfold, but kept his eyes closed.

Fear was a good way to disarm opponents. It was something he'd learned on the streets of Muunilust. Fear and invisibility, when used together, were a force to be reckoned with. Again Orosul leaped into another tree, to get a better sense of his prey's location.

Aria

Aria moved around slowly on the trees edging the open area. The 'trail' she had been following, had suddenly gone wrong. It didnt keep going, but, she wasnt quite sure where it went. Oh Poodo. Orosul could have doubled back.

Aria looked around. He could be anywhere at the moment. Unless...

Aria crawled under some nearby bushes, and carefully scanned the area, hinding herself as well as she could as she became as the plants around her.

IC:

Orosul opened his eyes and scanned the area. His prey had hidden itself. He turned his head to get a full view of the area. Nothing. It was good. Very good. Sentient for sure. Nothing else could've known (or guessed, as the case may be) he was there.

Softly alighting on the ground, he walked back in the direction of the boulder. The quarry would reveal itself, he was sure. Why? He didn't know the answer to that one, but he was certain. It was close.

Aria

Aria began to wonder if she was perhaps imagining things. She was SURE he was somewhere.... She checked again. Still, Orosul's 'trail' had not changed or moved from the general area.

Aria decided to stay frozen where she was. It was a good thing she did. She heard, the softest of movements. She closed her eyes, and concentrated. Yes. He was moving again. But where?

She didnt want to get into trouble. If he headed back for the ship, she would have to run to make it back. But she didnt want to leave him alone either. So she stayed hidden, until she could tell where he was going.

Sonjerlo slipped into his quarters and tapped the comm unit on. He accessed his private encryption codes and switched to the designated frequency. The unit viewscreen flashed on with the image of Admiral Dorban.

Admiral Dorban showed his age roughly. Facial scars lined his right cheek, a piece of shrapnel still lodged beneath it. He had served with distinction aboard the star destroyer Devastator under the command of Darth Vader a few short months before the famed capture of Princess Leia leading up to the destruction of the first Death Star.

He was in a boarding squad sent aboard a captured Marauder corvette to detain its rebel simpathetic crew. The cowering troops had tried to hold them off for several hours. To prevent his squad from getting to the bridge, one of the rebels tossed a thermal grenade down the corridor. When it exploded, his commanding officer was killed, and he was hurt when a chunk from the interior plunged into his profile. The impact knocked him out. Seeing the explosion, the four stormtroopers pulled back a few meters. After most of the rebels attempted to chase behind the fleeing stormtroopers, Dorban got up, grabbed the nearest blaster, and picked each of the rebels off. Limping around the ship, Dorban cracked the security locks and disarmed the marauder. While he was at it, he sealed the remaining compartments and killed the life support from them. The stormtroopers then simply took the prisoners in their weakened state-- all to be questioned by Lord Vader.

Lord Vader had personally complimented Dorban for his efforts and promoted him. Had it been the Emperor, Dorban may have been noticed enough to become a grand admiral. And now Admiral Dorban had a special task force consisting of several capital and medium ships. Unlike Admiral Daala, who was handed a large fleet, he had earned his.

Sonjerlo had always admired Dorban. How had Maleki wound up with one of the largest and best equipped fleets when Dorban had earned it through blood and dedication. He had served. If Vader could see his abilities, Sonjerlo had no doubts. Admiral Dorban was the true leader of the Empire. And he was speaking to the admiral now.

"Commander Sonjerlo, how goes the rescue operation?"

"We've moved on to the tenth planet. It will not take long to remove the few members of the survey team. Then we should be on to our original destination."

Admiral Dorban paused to think. After a few seconds, he continued, "Any clue to where that would be? It is difficult to track your signal."

"I do not know. It is classified to Vaggers only."

Dorban suggested, "Then continue your reports at the prearranged times. They are quite interesting." His tone shifted inward as he spoke, "And when I am done, the galaxy will once again know the power of the Empire. And you will have your warship."

Orosul jumped onto an overhanging branch. He had been felt for. He scanned the area for his quarry in turn, again wrapping the cloth around his head. Orosul moved to a near-contortionist position and took off one of his boots. He levitated it to a few meters away, then threw it in the general direction of the prey.

Jayven

Jayven made her way onboard the ship and into the cockpit. She quickly brought the ship up off of the ground and took off into space.

When they were out of orbit she turned around in her chair, "Allright, Master Skywalker. Where to..?"

(OOC:Right now, Fisto. Okay some announcements first, before I praise ya'll for jobs well done.
After some discussion Benskywaker has decided to give up his role as Jagged Fel. He will still continue on as Ben Skywalker and I'm anxious to see what will happen next to the poor lad. *giggles, poor sith I should say.* In light of this change I will be taking over Jagged Fel's character until I can get a replacement...if I can get a replacement...*checks wallet to see if she has enough for bribes. Grumbles and decides to pray instead.*
And having not seen or heard from the person who volunteered to play Zekk, I have decided to release them from playing that part and I will be portraying that part from now on...though Zekk is a permanent character for me since Jaina and him count as one character now.

Aria

Aria sat quietly, waiting to see what would happen next. She heard things, but couldnt lock on a position. Hmmmm. Maybe he guessed what she was going to do? Maybe something else was in the area?

Aria chewed her lip for amoment, before she carefully began to move thru the bushes, staying very low, almost crawling. Suddenly, something crashed into the bushes not too far from where she was, and she froze, like the small enlif kitten she used to play with. 'That was too close!' she thought to herself.

Aria realized she needed to be able to see what was going on. She edged over to a tree, but didnt climb up it. She touched its bark, and closed her eyes, as she concentrated....

When she opened her eyes again, she could see fuzzily in the open area. Nothing was there. But senses said there was something else in the trees besides the local inhabitants. Aria grinned, as she shook her head, clearing her vision. Hmm. Aria's fingers searched the ground, and found a smooth stone. She skipped it into the brushes over to her side, to see if that would draw anything out.
