Kosh listened to Goblin. Her heart wrenching tale made Kosh think of his own delima. Loosing his family to his own hand... Where, or if, his mother had survived... Kosh had no idea. And even if she had, how Kosh could face her knowing what he'd done...

But Goblin was telling of a lost love. Love was something Kosh had little experience with. Sure, when he'd become mature enough to notice females, he'd admired a young Chiss girl about his own age. But when she showed no interest, there were few children within the facility. And shortly afterwards, he fled in shame.

Kav was the lover. The father of the twins, mostlikely. And Coreese killed them directly or indirectly? The deep sadness in Goblin's face told Kosh to let the question go. Some questions were better left unstated. Kosh had no intention of pouring the sodium nitrate on old injuries. Kosh was puzzeled. Should he speak or attempt to comfort her? Or should he respect her privacy and stay out of it? He could not find a sense in the force, nor did his own instincts provide a clue. With out some signal or clear direction, he would just have to await an impulse from her.

(OOC: You gotta love plot twists...seems I'm bonding more with the chiss than the human. But it's cool, for once I can have a character say they find the tall dark and blue appealing. ;) Now what to do with that human. *scratches head and works on post.*)

    Goblin to Kosh

Shaking her head once more, she looked at Kosh and said plainly, "You need not trouble yourself with providing comfort for me. For none can ever be found. No, this is a story that must be told, or it will be lost forever with with my passing. I only need some time to get my emotions in order."

Giving a sigh she wearily turned her gaze to the human that lay in front of her.

    Goblin to Jag

She was standing beside him still looking at the image of the young woman called Jaina. Standing there, Goblin remained quiet to allow Jag time to get his emotions in check and time to take in the fuzzy surroundings.

Fortunately it didn't take long for him to reply, "Wait, this is where I first met her. This was quite a while ago. I know I should remember where we were standing and the reasons of why we were there that particular day. I know it was because of the war." He gave a slight chuckle, "It's funny, I usually have a great memory. But of that day the only thing I ever remembered was her face."

Goblin tilted her head just as Jag turned to look at her, it was then she asked, "Then you now know why we are here?"

Jag turned his eyes back to Jaina and gave a sigh along with a silent nod, "Yes. Is this the reason for why I am trapped inside my mind?"

"Yes, Jagged Fel, Jaina is part of the reason. The rest of it will come in time as you grow ready to face the inevitable fact that caused you to be imprisioned here. And with that in mind, shall I move on?" Goblin asked.

Jag nodded again and watched the misty clouds of his mind swirl and begin to form different shapes and colors. Wondering what he would see next and wondering who this woman was that was guiding him through his own mind.

Kosh glanced down at the human on the floor. The cave was dim, but he could still identify that the figure on the floor was indeed a human male. Was this Coreese? No, mostlikely not. Coreese wouldn't be human. So how was this man related to her pain?

Though not in the cave physically, Kosh picked up another image. Unlike the last image projected in the mist, this one was a sensation through the force. And it was not Goblin that he felt it from. The man, Jagged Fel, was not yet conscious though his mind was quite active. Through Jag, Kosh could see an Image of a young woman and a young man together. They appeared to be talking, but Kosh couldn't hear what was said. He recognized neither of the individuals, but they were both human. Based on his knowledge of humans from the facility in his past, they were in there late teens or early twenties. With the distortions in the mist that formed the backdrop, Kosh could be certain of nothing. What they were doing or where they were remained completely out of the image that Kosh was able to see.

The human was not projecting the image. It must have been Goblin again. Using the force to sense her had never revealed anything. It was almost like the force was not there...or it refused to answer his inquiries. She was not a Jedi. She was the force. Can the force sense itself? The human was not a Jedi either. But somewhere near, the force hovered strongly like a bird of prey seeking its meal. A coolness, of either darkness or calmness, echoed on this world seperate from Goblin, Jagged Fel, or Kosh himself.

Back to the immediate situation in the cave with Goblin and Jagged Fel, Kosh lost the image. More questions arose and answers were few. Who was the woman? Was the man he briefly saw in a deep sleep on the floor of the cave, or another? Was this the past again? If Goblin was projecting the image for Jagged Fel, why was the image significant? Was the common factor love? Was this his experience with love or her projection of her own sorrow in terms that a human would understand? His knowledge of humans from the facility reminded him that humans tend to be more outwardly passionate than the Chiss. So if Kosh understood, at least the concept of love from her projection earlier, why would she have simplify if for a species known for there emotional drive? Love should be easier for this human to understand than it had been for Kosh. All signs pointed to the new image of the two humans being part of Jagged Fel's experience, not a projection of Goblin's loss. If it was from Fel's own life, a connection between Fel and Goblin would be obvious in that both had experienced the loss of their respective love.

So what had happened to the young woman? Had she died, too? Or was the loss more felt than real? Did the loss of the woman cause the man to will himself to die? More questions with no explanations. He could ask Goblin about these new thoughts...and she would probably know the answers. But those questions seemed personel to Fel. And Kosh would not pry into the life of one who cannot answer for themselves.

So Kosh settled for the one question that only required general, factual information. A question that would give Goblin time to recover from her sorrow by focusing on another rather than her own feelings. "Who are the two humans?"

Fear. But no danger. Orosul turned back to face the ship, where Aria was just snapping out of a nightmare. Might as well check on her.

He jumped back onto the cockpit canopy.

"Mornin'." He had come to terms with himself. "Rough night?" Orosul grinned.

    Goblin to Kosh

"Who are the two humans?" Kosh asked plainly.

She knew he had seen what was inside Jag's mind. And she knew that he wondered why she was there and about her connection to the human. But she also knew that Kosh did not understand how it was that he and she were connected, let alone his own connection to Jag. But then again, he was not of her kind, such understanding and admittance was difficult for others.

Quietly she replied, "The answer to that question is not up to me to reveal. Perhaps you should ask Jagged Fel, himself when you are ready for the answer."

    Aria

Aria was still out of sorts when she felt movement, and a familiar figure jumped back onto the cockpit canopy. She looked up, still shaky from the strange dream.

"Mornin'." Orosul replied. He felt like he was back to his normal self. "Rough night?" Orosul grinned. Aria didnt return the grin. She simply nodded. "Yes. I felt it again. Its stronger." she said, not really looking at him.

"Can I get out now?" she asked him, as she looked around. She still felt a sadness. And something else. There was still a hint of darkness someplace. She sighed softly as she looked around. Maybe a bit of something to eat would make her feel better. She thought to herself for amoment before she asked.

"What about the reading you found, when we landed. Have you found ou anything?" Aria asked, trying to push what she felt in her dreams away. She needed to focus.

Yes. I felt it again. Its stronger. Orosul was about to ask what she was talking about when Aria spoke again.

Can I get out now? She sighed softly as she looked around.

"Sure thing." Orosul dropped off the canopy, landing solidly on his feet.

What about the reading you found, when we landed. Have you found out anything? She was confused, apparently. About what? The answer would come later, he expected. Answers have a way of doing that.

"Kid, I've been in that tree all night. Something happened last night, though. I feel someone else on this planet, besides the obvious you and me. You hungry?"

"Can I get out now?" Aria asked Orosul.

"Sure thing." Orosul dropped off the canopy, landing solidly on his feet. She reached over and opened the canopy. Crawling out, she moved to a grassy spot, and sat down. She streached her legs. It felt so much better out in the open now. It was kinda cold, but hopefully the day would warm up soon.

"Kid, I've been in that tree all night. Something happened last night, though. I feel someone else on this planet, besides the obvious you and me. You hungry?"

Aria looked at Orosul. 'Im not the only one who sucks at lying...' she thought to herself, but she didnt say it. "Yeah, Im hungry." she answered instead, sitting up, with her legs crossed in front of her.

"After breaking...we going tracking then?" she asked Orosul. "Find out why there are here?" Aria asked as she began to dig through her pack. She had not felt anyone directly nearby...but he was much more skilled in looking for folks than she was. She could find animals easy thought.

A thought popped into her head, and she turned, looking up at the skies. IF she could find something that flies around here...she could ask it if it has seen anything...like another person. She kept that thought in mind, as she began to scrounge for something to eat.

"Yeah. There should be a back entry on this side of the mountain range. I haven't been on this side before, honestly." Orosul cracked open the storage compartment to get the leftovers. "We'll start over by that ridge and work north." At this Aria stared up into the sky.

    "What's on your mind, kid?"

"What's on your mind, kid?" Orosul asked her. Aria pulled out a small set of rations she had packed, along with some fresh fruit and such from the day before. She laid some out for Orosul, in case he wanted some as well. As she bit into a piece of fruit, she mulled over her idea.

"Well...since we dont know much of this area...I think I can call one of the animals that fly around here." Aria looked up at Orosul. "I can ask em if they have seen anything..." she tells him. Aria sighs, as she looks back up again.

Why do things feel so .. diffrent today? She frowned. It was something she would have to figure out later. She closed her eyes, and began to concentrate.

Aria munched on a small snack..but stopped when Orosul stopped his digging and stared at her strangely. "You can talk to animals?" he asked.

She felt her face suddenly flush furiously. She suddenly felt strangely embarrased. It wasnt THAT big of a deal.

"Well...kinda. Sometimes. Maybe?" she said looking casually over at the grass. "They like me..and I like them. They tend to ummm..find me. I can sense em. So sometimes, I can ask them to do ... stuff." she replied, curling a strand of hair around her finger.

The look he was giving made her wonder. "Thats not bad...is it?" she asked.

Kosh looked down on the human on the ground as he considered Goblin's remark. "That would be an interesting trick. You may have the power to ask him now, but I do not. But I will wait none the less."

Kosh looked back up at Goblin, squinting his red eyes to block her odd glow. For all the information he had on humans, Goblin appeared to be one of them, without a glow of course. Humans didn't normally glow. Her features were almost identical to the model used on the holo-recordings Kosh's parents used to show to teach him about humans. Physically, she looked as healthy as any of them had ever looked in the instructional materials. Her somber tone and the method in which she carried herself were the only clues to her misery. Her reddish-brown hair, almost golden even in the dimly lit cave, framed her face. Her saphire eyes were as deeply blue as Kosh's were red. Little pools that glimmered in the light from her own glow, her eyes reminded him of a binary system he once saw several years ago. But her eyes were sad.

If she could smile through the pain, Goblin would remind him of his mother. Her age was impossible to tell. She held a mature look that either no longer remembered joy or never knew it. Had the image of the young woman and Jagged Fel been Goblin and Fel? No. It didn't feel right. If it had been her, why would Goblin indicate it was personal to him? Jagged Fel wasn't Kav at least not from what Kosh could tell from the images. So these two stories where unrelated. Or they appeared to be different.

He wondered how old Goblin was. If she was human, she couldn't be older than thirty. But how long a Creator lived, only Goblin knew. How they aged or how they even came to be was also known only to Goblin. So after pondering the infinite nature of the question, Kosh asked it anyway. A question that he hoped would distract her from her grief. "If the Creators made all the planets and the life on them, what created the creators?"

Among the stars one could probably pick out the small shuttle craft that drifted silently in the empty patch of space. That's if someone was ever in this part of the galaxy.

Having gotten lost when their navigational system went awry, Jaina and Zekk found themselves stuck alone inside the Jedi shuttle as they were trying to fix the computer so that they could make it back to the Republic capital.

Things were not going as smoothy as they hoped and the two had been constantly arguing either out loud or inside each others heads.

On the morning of the third day, tempers snapped and another argument ensued.

Jaina and Zekk (OOC: Most of this will be inside their minds. To help establish the difference between what they say out loud I'll use the color blue for what they say in their thoughts. Okay?)

Jaina angrily stormed down the small corridor inside their shuttle heading for the control room of the ship. Zekk, like always, was close behind her.

Without a word escaping their lips, the two of them were having an argument, while they made their way down the corridor.

"You shouldn't have listened in!"She screamed within her thoughts.

"No offense, Jaina, but it's kind of hard to ignore your thoughts when they're in my head too." Zekk threw back.

"It was private! You still could have found some way to not pay attention."

It was just then that Zekk had caught hold of Jaina's shoulder and spun her about to face him.

"Listen here, Solo." He glared, "Over the last year there have been many times where I wished I could have blocked you out of my mind. Especially when you dream of Jag. Believe me when I say I'd give anything to turn that dream faucet off!"

Jaina glared back at Zekk and shoved him back. HEY! What makes you think I like it when you dream of having a girl drooling over you in every spaceport from here to..."

"Jaina!" He interrupted, "You know that is not what I dream about." Giving a sigh he then looked at her, "Why can't you just admit..."

"DON'T YOU SAY IT OR EVEN THINK IT!" She shouted, pointing her finger in his face harshly. "And don't you dare pretend that you didn't influence that dream! Because I know you..."

It was then they were both interrupted when their ship's comm unit began to buzz and the voice of Mara Skywalker echoed from the within the ship's control room.

Jaina? Jaina, pick up. It's Mara. We need your help."

Rolling her eyes and giving one last angry look at Zekk she replied sternly, "This isn't..."

"Over." He sighed, "Yes, I know."

Jaina ignored the fact he finished off her sentence and decided to focus her attention on answering her aunt's call for help. Flipping the comm switch she spat out, "We're here, Mara."

Aria thought about that, as she watched Orosul reached into the compartment and, with some difficulty, pulled out a flask. He then walked over to where Aria was and sat himself down.

"But...your a Jedi too. You should be able to..." Aria suddenly went rigid, as a voice seemed to scream through her mind.

["Help me, Help me! I need someone to help me..." ]

The voice can in loud and clear..and it was definatelly not what she had been hearing or seeing earily. Who ever this was..sounded desperate. A kid maybe? It broke her eariler concentration, as her eyes went wide.

["H...Hello?"] she responded, automatically. Someone needed help. She didnt know how she could help. But she had to try. It was such a plantive cry. She concentrated, offering a source of strength, as she tried to find out where the cry had come from. To anyone else, she just seemed to suddenly grow quiet.
