I’m looking forward to this, it’s been way to long since the last bat game! Also red hood looks bad ass!

I'm definitely looking forward to this! I will play as Nightwing as much as possible.

 

It’s probably a toss up between red hood or batgirl for me, hoping for the black and yellow batgirl suit though as I’ve never been much of a fan of the Purple suit myself.

also I’m calling it now, batman isn’t really dead!

 

Nightwing all game or bust.

Though i expect certain story parts will force me to play as other characters. Might coop those ones.

 

I mean, I think everyone knows that Batman isn't really dead and it's part of a ploy to bring down Court of Owls. I think Gordon might really be dead, though.

It is not "game as a service". Clearly the phrase has such a toxic reputation no developers want it near their game!

Co-op limit to 2 is to enable level design.

Yeah they mentioned that right afterwards. Basically it's a regular single player game that a friend can join you in. Sounds great.

 

Also turns out this isn’t part of the Arkamvers

 

Nope, but the Suicide Squad game apparently is.

I'm a little sad, the rumors were suggesting another 'early Batman' game in the Arkhamverse a la Batman Origins. I loved the series, at least up to Arkham Knights, which you would have to pay me to play.

 

So a small bit of news for the game.
Apparently the combat won’t be the same as the Arkham games.

 

That seems fine to me as these are four different people with differing fighting styles. I don't really need them to play like Batman.

 

So I’m guessing the big marketing push for this game will begin around E3 time, honestly thought we’d have more on this by now.

 

Yeah I guess. My guess is it's a Q3 game

This is gonna happen to so many games this year, 2021 is gonna empty out for sure.

 

I tend to agree with Giant Bomb that 2021 might be the weakest year for AAA video games since 2014 since we're getting a combination of new console launch uncertainty (similar to that year) and the pandemic.

The Harry Potter game as also been pushed back by a year.

 

Hmm, so far my 2021 hitlist is:

Disco Elysium: Final Cut
Mass Effect LE
Biomutant
Ratchet & Clank
Kena: Bridge of Spirits
At some point - Lego SW: Skywalker Saga

And that's only up to August, plus I have a vast backlog so - it's all fine.

 

Possibly Halo also

 

Oooh I didn't realize Biomutant had a date, in May. Yay.

 

I have no issues with waiting for a game to be released if it's going to be polished and not Cyberpunk'd

I can wait on this

 

Yeah I'm always down to just wait until a game is actually finished.

 

Oh yeah, Republic Commando is getting a remaster release next month.
