While I know it's probably foolish to put too much stock in quotes like this one (especially coming from people directly involved in the film), I'd be lying if I said I didn't like reading it.

 

I'd be lying if I didn't say it contradicts most of what I've read about the film.

Didn't Jabba have a son? If so, i wonder if he's running the mob on Tatooine now?

 

The leader of the Resistance is Leia, Han is a father like figure to Fin and Rey, and the anticipation of seeing Luke building up throughout the entire movie. I think it doesn't contradict at all, more like confirms what the rumors have been about.

I know. I'm usually the first to discount quotes like that coming from anyone affiliated with the film in any way, shape or form, but it’s nice to read all the same.

 

Luke is practically nonexistent, Leia is in a handful of scenes, and Han is only in a bit more because he dies. Not one scene that contains two of them, let alone all three. Fail.

Sounds like the exact opposite to me.

Don't know about TFA per se, but Ackbar will appear in the ST at some point, guaranteed.

Han will have the most screen time, by far, of the OT Big 3 in TFA. Luke, and Leia less so, will feature more prominently in 8 & 9.

yeah, just like you i try to put a little time aside for star wars LOL. And don't get excited sweetheart, i haven't got time for anything else.

 

I'm wondering if the movie starts with a little "30 years ago, this happened...", which gives you a quick look at a few old fan favourites. An Ewok cameo.
