MadKid may have something else to suit up in, and might not be "Anakin-ing". See this link for more...

Yeah... still need an undertunic, I know... But the pants I got. What? You've never seen a Jedi in Jeans before?

Last year & in previous years, there's an afterparty, with food, conversation, cards. It's a great time to meet, some new people.

That's a good question! I just skimmed back through the thread and didn't notice the times either.
Somewhere in here it's posted that the parade starts at 11am, but line-up/road closures begin at 9am.

EDIT: Just found them - with my board setting the details are in the 15th & 16th posts down the page on page 2.

These are the directions that I have from last year (from Rochester to the hall).

    Take 1-490 W to I-90 W (aka the Thruway) - (16.9 miles)

    Take I-90 W until Exit 50 (aka I-290 W) ? (41.5 miles)

Take the I-290 W for 9.8 miles then merge onto I-190 N towards Niagara Falls

Take the I-190 N for 15.1 miles then it turns into the Queenstown-Lewiston Bridge

After customs, take Route 450 W towards QEW ? (5.4 miles)

The 405 W merges in with the QEW, remain on the QEW for 3.3 miles until Exit 44.

Take Exit 44 (aka RR-48 towards Niagara Street/Service Road)

    Turn Right onto Russell Avenue

    Turn Left onto Catherine Street

    Turn Left onto Welland Avenue

    Turn Right onto Court Street

Follow Court Street past Church Street and King Street.
The hall is on your Left, on the corner of Court and Centre Streets.

    Are these still correct?

Yeah as you probably already noticed

    jeff swfreakjpb

    jeffrey star-wars-freak-jpb

    both me from rochester

Wish I could bring food but probably not a good thing over the border and what I would bring needs to be cold. If there is soda or other beverages then maybe someone should bring cups and ice if the soda is not going to be refridgerated. I remember having warm beverages in the past. If no one has already purchesed them I will bring cups if need be. Please PM me either way. If there is anything else needed that I can bring over, let me know.

    Count me in as well.
Is it the same hall as was used for the YJN Christmas party back in January?
I can bring green salad. I'll do the same one as I did for the Christmas party - It makes a lot and people seemed to like it.

Well yes the forecast calls for a light rain, but lets remember that weather can change very quicky (for better or worse).

Sorry, but since I'm not coming the night before like I usually do, what's the address for the hall, so I can get directions? I remember vaguely, but actually knowing which exit from the QEW to take would be nice!

    Thanks for the directions, Stephanie.
I'm not sure if I can stay for lunch or not, but if I decide to, and if I have time tomorrow night to make it, I'll bring a hash brown casserole.
