    Ooooo Evazan and Ponda Baba. I never cared a whit about them in the old EU, but they -- particularly, Evazan -- were pure gold in the Aphra comics. Evazan was actually... diabolically brilliant? Hopefully we see the same here.

    Some good synergy with Crimson Reign in this issue,
    getting a different POV for events in The Archivist. It also places this series after Qi'ra's ascension to head of Crimson Dawn, so likely much closer to ANH than Solo.

    Nice that they adjusted Krrsantan's eyes to match Carey Jones'. Just like Chewie's actors Jones has a distinctness to his big brown eyes, so cool to see that translated to comic pages.

    Like that Vancto is essentially a combo of Bane and Vanth.

    Some good developments this issue, and a minor time jump. And huh, did we know the average Wookiee lifespan was about 400 years? So Chewie joining up with Han is his midlife crisis lol.

    Makes sense. He goes galavanting around the Galaxy for a couple decades because Life Debt, leaving Malla home with Lumpy, while Chewie flies around with his buddy in their new hot rod light frieghter.

    Apparently I missed the news that issue 10 would be the last. That said,
    looks like the droid core and Corbus will play a part in the upcoming crossover event.

    Well, issue #9 did a better job of establishing Ajax Sigma's threat than Revelations.

    Also glad that Vancto somewhat won at the end.

    Still no explanation how the conman knew enough about Han's father to convincingly impersonate him, nor anything about what Phaedra's deal is...are these characters going to come back with Ajax or were those just not important?

    After reading the last issue I was pretty disappointed in this series. It dragged the story out over ten issues by introducing a bunch of new characters, but then didn’t really give any of them meaningful development. The Lando miniseries told a much better heist story in half the issues.

    I was excited to see what they could do with the 10-issue format, but the writer didn’t make great use of it. The Yoda series so far seems to be making much better use of the extra issues it’s got over the typical 5-issue miniseries.
