    Wow, I can't believe they finally came out with this! The first one was brilliant, and I can't wait for this one.

    I was pleasantly surprised to catch this teaser in front of Superbad. I hadn't realized the movie was that far along.

    Which is, needless to say, awesome, as the first movie was magnificent. And the return of NPH is awesome too- I wonder if they're going to play off of his recent coming out, as I imagine that could add all kinds of weird layers to his character's persona.

    the taser calls it "Harold 7 Kumar 2". however...hopefully they'll change it to the thread title by time it comes out ::)

    Im a late comer to Harold and Kumar, having only seen it recently on cable. With that said, I friggin loved it; it was ALOT better than I thought itd be, even though Id heard great things about it.

    Anyway, looking forward to the sequel. Is there a release date yet ?

    No word on an exact date, but a little research into it has revealed the plot:

    The premise of the movie involves Kumar Patel, the Indian American protagonist of the original film, being mistaken for a 'bomb carrying terrorist' while the pair are trying to sneak a bong on board a plane en route to Amsterdam. They are incarcerated in a Guantanamo Bay detainment camp but manage to escape.

    The movie follows their adventures as fugitives from the Department of Homeland Security as they travel through Miami to Texas and ultimately find themselves in the ranch-house of President George W. Bush.


    I guess I'll have to change the title of the thread as it seems they don't make it to Amsterdam in this one. Maybe the third?

    Glad to see NPH is back, but is anyone really surprised. His last lines in "White Castle" pretty much said he'd show up anywhere and everywhere.

    It'll be a fun movie, guranteed.

    I actually think one movie is good enough, it is so well done, and I considered the tag line at the end of it to be just a tounge-in-cheek kind of thing. I'm a little afraid this 2nd one will flop, but this is just one teaser. I don't have my hopes up just yet, as sequels can have a chance of not being as good as its predecessor. However, I think I will still enjoy this movie next year regardless of how it turns out, as it can't be all that horrible, heh.
