I love the snow!! But then I don't have a car to dig out from under it. At about 3:00 pm yesterday I pulled my ugly old snow boots from the back of the closet and went out to buy some champagne and groceries. Felt like a little kid again, stomping around in the drifts on Columbus Avenue.

Happy New Year to all. I'll be spending the witching hour in a movie theatre watching the new Coen brothers flick. Hope you have fun, too.

P.S. Saw "Shadow of the Vampire" on Friday night. Recommend it highly.

Hi all, The snow yesterday was great. I hope we get a lot more of it. Yesterday when the snow was coming down the hardest I had to go out in the backyard, fall face-first into the 1ft. of snow, look ahead, stick out my arm and say "Obi-wan!, Dagobah, Yoda!!", and then collapse into the snow. It was fun.

    :-D

    Hello New York from Australia!

Hope you don't mind me stopping in to say HAPPY NEW YEAR!
It's the day after New YEars here and pretty darn hot it has been. I've never seen snow and can't imagine how wonderful- how amazing- it would be to celebrate New YEars in TImes square in the middle of snow. I came to see your amazing city last year and realised it would take about ..ooh..3 years to get to see it all.
Anyway, I'm rambling..just wanted to wish some fellow crazy Star wars fans a Happy NEw YEar!

I was laughing at this guy digging his car out of the snow and said to my friend "awwwww, cant get your car out" and did a Yoda laugh. I thought it was funny. My friend that has a Full Vader costume was walking around in the snow as he did in the Hoth Rebel Base, it was soo cool

hehehe, actually Jandimin, I wasn't alone when I did that. I had a friend with me who, upon seeing what I had done, just looked at me and said "yeah, well if you think I'm gonna cut the neighbors dog open and stuff you inside it you've got another thing coming." Then she mumbled something about "Your Luke Skywalker ass can just stay there in the snow...", and went inside.

    Go figure

    It was fun though.

LOL, I guess you're right Jandimin, well at least I learned that if I'm ever going to Hoth (or the earthly equivalent) not to bring her with me. :-D

I guess so. I find teachers to be idiots sometimes. For example, today last period of the day my class had a sub. The sub told us don't talk. Me and this other kid weren't talking at all. He made us stay late and let about 20 others who were talking very loud for the entire class go. 10 minutes of my life wasted.
