    Just wanted to stop by and introduce myself. I am from Virginia and have been an EU fan for most of my life (which of course means I love the movies).

    Non-controversial opinions that will likely be expressed here:
    • The original trilogy is the best
    • The original Thrawn trilogy is at least top 3 EU

    Controversial opinions:
    • Episodes 7, 8 and 9 weren't as bad as everyone made them out to be.

    Looking forward to speaking with everyone!

    I agree with you on the ST. As a matter of fact, I was just saying to a coworker yesterday that one of my favorite Yoda appearances is in the ST.

    And I agree about the movies. I think expectations were way higher than should be........I take it all in, as its Star Wars.......that's all I need to know!

    Thank you so much! My favorite single book is probably Dark Force Rising and my favorite series would be the Thrawn trilogy. I haven't read the new Thrawn series but I have loved anything Zahn that I have read to include Allegiance and Outbound Flight. I admittedly have not read NJO, but it is on the list! I am also very fond of the X-Wing series.
