Oh, right. Sure. Definitely similar. Though I think if she was once Naboo royalty, we’ve had read about it by now.

 

I would too (especially since Naboo shows up in LOTJ). But then I also thought we knew for sure that she's human, only to see there's no direct confirmation of it on The Wook -- I checked because her facial markings here and the sort of tinted coloring made it seem (very) vaguely possible she was Mirialan or something.

 

Odd, she doesn't have any markings in this piece.

 

Yeah, they seem new. I'm tending to take these shorts and the comic art as the "definitive" visuals for the HR characters, since a lot of the earlier stuff was honestly labeled as "concept art".

 

The Nihil are a great new antagonist. Killer darkside space-faring plants are a dumb new antagonist. One step forward, one step back. Very curious how good ideas are so often followed by really bad ones in the creative world.

It's funny, the Drengir one was too spoilery too soon, the Sskeer one seems to shy away from stuff we pretty much already know.

70% of he commenters don't even know where they are, they're just following the mob. Best to ignore them.

Yeah, seems like a coordinated, targeted trolling. The High Republic is a good target for them because it's not mainstream Star Wars. They'd never be able to accomplish that with something that caters to the more casual Star Wars fans. They'd be outnumbered at least 100 to 1.

 

Ironically, that's a total Ro / Nihil type of strategy.

 

I don't understand the hate here as this series is pretty good and he seams to be a formidable villain.

Cool character, and yeah, that video was one of the more engaging ones.
