If the opposite of pro is con, then whats the opposite of progress?


I've also heard this:

Deffinition of Poloticians

poly+ticks

poly meaning many
ticks meaning blood-suckers

therefore, poloticians=many bloodsuckers.

 

It's politition. Also politics.

And politics doesn't come from the roots "poly" or "tick" because it's not even pronounced POLYTICKS.

 

Here's a funnier one.

Aww, this was screwed before it started.

 

Um that was not even a joke....

 

A guy walks past a Democratic convention, and outside he notices a man selling Newborn puppies.

"Democratic puppies! Get your Democratic puppies!"
The guy shrugs, thinking its cute, and goes home.

A week later, a Republican convention is being held at the same place. Again, the guy walks by, and again, the man is there.
"Republican puppies!! Get your Republican puppies!"

"Now hold on a minute!" The guy says. "Last week, you were here selling Democratic puppies! What makes these ones any diffrent?"

The man smiles and says, "They've opened their eyes and stopped whining since then."

Despite being wrong, that is pretty funny.

Actually, that lame joke is funny...

So the puppies opened their eyes and are now republicans, but they lost their 6th sense and started getting paranoid and were biting every mailman, suspecting they were terrorists. Ohhh.. but puppies are sooo cute!

No, I'm not even American.. I just like to see the internal struggles of my southern neighbors and I can see the rest of the world thinking the exact same thing!
