If I ever actually try to play on a higher difficulty I'll have to actually optimize my build. Until then I'm just a hapless sorcerer who doesn't know what he's doing
Astarion has the second highest INT in the party yet is still somehow an idiot. I love it. (Of course I do) I think I'm actually gonna get to play today after being too busy to most the week!
I had this exchange with someone on Reddit today re: Astarion telling people he's a magistrate 200 years later. Me: Hey it's not a lie it's just extremely out of date. By 200 years. Person 1: When you try to explain the gap in your resume. Me: lmao. "I've been doing volunteer work" "where?" "...taverns" Person 2: Hey he got paid in rats Person 1: Ah yes I too have done internships
Me the first time I faced Nere in my blind run with my brother: dammit we keep TPKing, why is this taking an hour??? Me this morning facing Nere on my Durge run: *battle completed in two turns* I think it may be time to bump it up to Tactician. If I do, what should I know? (I know if you cast Friends it can backfire and that's about it). Also @Lord Vivec how is Honor Mode going? There are new Legendary actions being added next week with Patch 6 And of course, obligatory "oh boy I hope some of those new kisses in Patch 6 apply to Astarion kisses" from me. Collect your wagered money now
Been stressed recently so I haven't been doing my honor mode run. I'm in the big shar temple tho so it's still alive.
Fair enough. I don't think Honor Mode would be very relaxing! As for my Durge run, I'm obviously in Grymforge. But I've just finally had the Owlbear Cub, whom I totally missed out on in my first run, join my camp. I'm so happy
BG3 has made Hasbro 90 million dollars which has contributed to doubling their video game license division’s revenue this year compared to last. just goes to show how much money the game has made.
I think by most accounting it made nearly a billion dollars. Patch 6 is out soon and INCLUDES A FIX TO SHIELD BASH
Well I mean 70% of their audience has the hots for one elf or another. Or both. and the fact that like at least 40% of people treat it more as a dating sim than an actual adventure game. Well. It just made sense
It is BOTH a dating game and an RPG, thank-you-very-much. I shall not be denied joy over both fixes to shield bash mechanics AND the fact that I can kiss Astarion in more ways now.
I'm sorely disappointed by the lack of Fox News stories about BG3. I truly want them to have to explain the bear sex and squid sex and foursome and now vampire biting kisses to their Boomer viewers.
So I've been invited to start a four person multiplayer run with three of my fellow Astarion simps. We're playing D&D on Saturdays and now a different group of us are playing BG3 on Sundays. Also in this run, I'm Astarion. Chaos will be had. I'm gonna RP the **** out of this. They'll ask me what I vote to do and I'll just be like "honestly I wasn't listening, now can we kidnap some children?"
Finished my Lae’zel origin run yesterday and am considering starting my Dark Urge run right now instead of taking a break like I originally planned. Don’t think a game had this much of a hold on me since Mass Effect 2.
Yeah I've literally never finished a game and then started a new run right after. It's remarkable. I'm 40 hours into my Dark Urge run. Meanwhile my four person co op run started today. We're playing on Tactician and not dying so I think maybe I should switch my Dark Urge run to that as well because Balanced has become far too easy after 250 or so total game hours of experience lol. Also one of my other teammates is playing Origin Shadowheart so I'll get to see her origin content as well. As Astarion I'm gonna attempt to romance Gale.
