    Another dorm got quarantined yesterday...the first one just opened back up though...

    Apparently it only took eight positive tests to close it down so I'm glad the university is taking it seriously...

    I'm just glad my dorm hasn't quarantined...yet... would only take three positive tests to shut it down....

    eyes his two roommates... lol...

    sorry just needed to ramble...[face_laugh]

    Please stay safe and take every possible precaution out there my friend. It's almost like defensive driving, you have to account for your own safety as well as the negligence of others. Better to be safe than sorry.... [face_praying]

    Yeah...trust me I know lol... The vast majority of my classes are online, I don't interact with too many peeps

    Well it's not like if there is one case that person gets to walk around willy nilly, it just takes eight to close down the entire dorm...

    I got tested myself recently. Turned out to just be a cold, but wanted to be certain.

    That cotton swab...

    Went from “Ah, she’s just gonna swab a little,” to “Haha that’s a little far,” to “Oh she’s still going,” to “How far back does my nose go?” to “Make it stop!”

    My eyes haven’t watered that much since the ending of La La Land.

    Good on you for getting tested, man. I've known too many people who don't and just regret it afterward when someone gets pretty sick from them.

    Pretty proud of my home state.........

    The cases in August/Sept all came in on International flights and were already in isolation when discovered. No community spreading at all.

    The four active cases are once again, internationals who are in isolation still. Our borders are still closed to most states here and we are still very vigilant. I'm actually a 'Covid 19 Marshall' as every organisation social or business must have one on duty at all times. ;)

    I'm sad for you guys trying to do the right thing and surrounded by uneducated fools who claim their rights are more important than human rights. :( [:D] - Covid distance hug. I got a hug from a friend last Saturday, first time in 7 months! The only people I've hugged before that we my son and husband!!

    I would say it is what it is but that phrase leaves a sour taste in my mouth now...

    I'm doing what I can, my peers seem to make....poor decisions. (I'm honestly surprised and thankful none of my friends have gotten Covid yet)

    Thank god for the internet (and by extension the RPF ;)) that's all I'll say...[face_laugh]

    I'm just annoyed that it is outside my control for the most part...
