MidWest hopefully soon to be Grand Island, NE FF.......

I was wondering if anyone would be interested in joining a Grand Island FF. I live in the area and would much rather prefur having one nearby rather than in Lincoln. I already have at least one person who is going to help me and join the FF. Anyone else interested?

Hey RSL, where you from? I'm grom the GI/Kearney area originally (I'm in Chadron going to college right now). Wish I was comming home for the summer now. If you really got one up and going I'd have an even bigger incentive of going home occasionally. Hope you get one going.

I'm the RSA for Nebraska (among other states), so I'll be in charge of setting up your forum when you're ready.

As stated by the Lincoln folks, you'll need three unique users to post in this thread expressing interest in forming a Grand Island chapter. Once there are three, I'll create the forum and you'll be on the way to becoming an official chapter.

As for getting new members, I suggest putting a link to your chapter in your signature, post flyers in comic book stores, try communicating with other SF groups in the area, or talking to local book store to start a book club.
