How did Obi-Wan get captured?

We don't actually see how those droidekas captured him. From the hologram, it looked like they shot him, but when we see him again, he doesn't have a scratch on him. The droids didn't use stun since we never saw any stun blasts. Jango Fett wasn't involved (otherwise, Dooku wouldn't even attempt to lie about Jango Fett not being on Geonosis). I remember the novelization talked about the droids pinning him down, but never really explained what they did.

 

It looked to me as if the droidekas overwhelmed him-perhaps he surrendered?

Or maybe someone was waiting in the wings, and stunned him.

 

Hm. Remember on Kamino in the rain-lashed fight against Fett Senior? Well, Boba fires off the guns and their explosive radius throws Obi-Wan flying. Well, that could've been what was done to him, since he was recording a transmission at the time, and caught unawares despite his Jedi senses, so that when he drew his lightsaber and thumbed it to life, the blast was just too powerful, too soon. So he maybe was hurled back, and thus, decomissioned.

 

From the hologram, it seems to me that Obi-Wan is directly hit by the blast, so I'm sure the droideka used a stun blast.

I wonder why the stun shots are so underused in SW. We only see it once in ANH on Leia, and it's implied when Han shoots the 2 stormtroopers off screen (if he used full power, the armor would have been damaged, and when Luke and Han wear it, there's no damage.)

What are these questions? It's obvious that the Seperatists sent a scout or something to overwhelm Obi and bring him in or the Geonosians used a tranquilizer of some sort. But come on, like earlier this morning in the CT forum someone asked how the AT-AT walkers landed on Hoth. Oh well I guess it gives us all something to talk about until Episode III.
