Read the Bible. It's the word of God. Spread the word. Science is no doubt wrong. Nostradamus put 'codes' in the Bible, you know. WWII,9/11. You name it. Next there is going to be a time where 1/3 of the people will die in war. Another 1/3 dies of illness. 1/3 of death. Remember that. Evolution is fake. God was the only person in the universe. He/She created the earth. Then Adam and Eve...

What about the Quran? The Bible is what you believe it to be. Not everyone is Christian. No faith is 'right'. Everything has gone through some period of evolution, like the Earth, and how the universe was created with the Big Bang.

    (though i respect your opinion.)

Darthness asked for evidence as to what I asserted was the 'fact' of evolution. I would suggest he read any of a number of books on the subject; some of my personal favorites are Carl Sagan's COSMOS and THE DRAGONS OF EDEN, and David Johansen et al.'s LUCY. In brief, however, I would mention that I have held the fossilized remains of prehistoric humans in my hands, examined their ridges and teeth, and studied the sites from which they emerged. In regard to human evolution, it is clear, to me at least, that there is an obvious progression of form over time (geological time being indicated by the placement of the remains in the various layers of the earth's strata) from short, thick-boned, prognathic, small-brained species to taller, more gracile, large-brained people that we see around us today. Creationism fails to account for such models of evolution's processes.

Humanity is a product of evolution. Though, I do believe in the concept of god.

    Creationism!

Evolution is being disproved a little more every day. Scientifically. There are some Christian scientists who make evolution look like something a kid made up.

Evolution is not yet fully understood but it does happen.

The most entertaining forums in the world are religious ones. Reading the truly insane thoughts of people who are ready, willing, and waiting for The Rapture is highly amusing.

    Evolution.

    Try this evidence.

This is one of the many creationist lies. Furthermore, there are only two actual creation scientists worth actually calling scientists (ie, they have an actual degree), Behe and Demenski. Yet both of them accept evolution as completely valid! They merely use God as an explanation for the origin of life. Not its development.

There is no way to prove evolution took place. Evolution is as much of a "faith" matter as creation is. Even if you could prove that things can evolve, it still doesn't prove that evolution is what happened to create all the living things in the universe. The only way to prove evolution happened would be to go back into the past in a time machine and experience it. There are no facts to evolutuion. If you can prove that evolution took place go ahead. But I cannot even think of anything that could ever possibly prove it, just as I cannot think of anything to ever possibly prove God exists. It is a faith matter. I am not saying this to put you evolutionists down... I am saying this to put you on our level. Don't go around saying it is a fact, or even scientific if it has no proof. I am not saying it has been disproved. Even if it had been, the Evolutionist scientists would find other ways for it to work. Trying to diprove evolution, or creation for that matter, is pointless. Neither can be proved nor disproved.

    Anyway... Creation.

No one ever said it is. And as a scientist, I will happily agree there is no proof. However, evolution has massive amounts of a wonderful thing called Evidence. ID/Creationism does not. Thus, evolution doesn't require faith like ID/Creationism does.

Well, to me this whole God thing is just some stuff some dudes in a far away country made up ages ago. Not much to do with me. Science, however, is universal.

Creationism= "God Did it". ID= "God did it but we will try not to make it sound like religion so we can get our religion in schools".

    I'm not kidding.

That's what I thought. I only heard the term for the first time a few months ago whilst watching the American news on PayTV. Just some kind of new jingoism.

Personally, I believe that both views should be taught in schools side by side, each with equal "air time", because, frankly, both views require just as much FAITH as each other.

Leona, I always thought that the idea of intelligent design was that it was creation with evolution built in . . . ?

Perhaps what I should say then is what if evolution was creationism? Perhaps we simply have our timelines skewed? 7 days... 7 billions years....
