How do I tie a bandana to my head?

Alright, how do I make one of those biker bandana things? And what should the average length of the bandana be? Mine is a little fluffy, so I was thinking I would have to cut off some length perhaps? My trademark is mostly backwards baseball caps, but I've been growing tired of that. So how do I successfully put a bandana on, biker style? I have long hair too, so I am wondering how I could accomodate my hair, yes.

And I'm not talking about one of those Indian ones where you just tie it in a band around the head.

 

Fold it into a triangle, put the center point of the triangle at the rear of your head, grasp the other two points with your hands, and tie it into a knot.

To tighten it, and make it less poofy on your head, hold the bandanna with one hand, and pull on the center point of the triangle.


You should wash it several times first, in order to get it loose enough to work with.

I wear bandanas all the time, my hair is too short fo a ponytail. Teachers at school yell at me because wearing a bandana means I am involved in "gang related activity" So I wore my World Youth Day bandana.
They still yelled at me.

For long hair, either leave it down, or tie it low enough on your head that it is below the knot of the bandana.
