How does every one feel about the Kaminoans?

I don't see how you can compare the Kaminoans to the Gungans and call the Gungans more advanced. I don't think that the Gungans would have the first clue how to clone.

 

I'd pay money to see a female Kaminoan and a female Twi'lek (usually regarded as the most beautiful race in the SW universe) duke it out.

 

Duke it out? How 'bout a pillow fight instead?

The lesson learned here is that intelligence does not equal good moral... The Kaminoans are very intelligent, but they're unscrupulous traders in human life.

I love their appearence nonetheless, another great contrast in the ongoing starwars saga...

 

The Kaminoans are very cool looking and obviously good at their jobs.

 

I thought Taun We was... well... kinda sexy. She had a very refined manner, as I am sure all of the Kaminoans do. The thing that I think impressed me was her demeanor towards the the boy that will bet The Fett. It was soft. Very they were very clean too.
What I wonder about is after the clone wars are over... what is to become of the cloners?
It shall be interesting watching their story develop.

The cloners keep making clones after the clone wars. The stormtroopers are clones, and the empire obviously had millions made.

 

I find it funny that the woman who voiced Tuan We has never done any voice over work before. She did a really good job.

 

Wasn't she incredible!!!!! Oh my gawd.... she could be a quiet storm DJ on a late night jazz station.

 

Yeah she was great! I want to see some of the other work she has done. I know she has done some other acting work with the guy who played Jango.

The Kamino scenes would make great rave visuals.

 

They are my fav species so far.. and I found them to be very soothing and interesting.

 

I loved the way their clothes bended on the bag of their knees. For some reason that struck me as really kewl. lol. At first I was'nt sure if I was going to like them because they looked so different from the rest of the star wars aliens but as the scene went on I like them more and more!

 

My favorite part of Kamino was simply how the interiors of the cloning facility and everything inside we got to see was such a stark contrast to the outside world of the planet. tres cool.

makes you wonder how the race even started. anyway, i thought their elegance was cool.. maybe the most 'alien' of all star wars aliens, but it still brought back memories of the dreadful AI:Artificial Intelligence ending. I think ol sleilberg mightve been talkin to Lucas when he was reviewing Kamino art.

They didnt bug me too much in AI it wasn't so much the aliens look that pissed people off it was the fact they showed up at all it was like spielberg thought of 2/3rds of a film and then said thats enough lets move on to minority report. As for the kaminos they looked very real to me and while not in my top ten creatures of all time list were not a detriment to AOTC

 

Yeah- they ARE in AI aren't they? Anyway. I liked them I guess they can breath underwater? Are they amphibious or what?

 

I think you'll also notice that they look very much like Yarael Poof - Lucas was ripping himself, not Spielberg, off.

Do you think the Kaminoans would be as cool as they were in attack of the clones if they were puppets like yoda was in the TPM? Were the Kaminoans puppets at any point in AOTC?

I don't know, I found the scenes on Kamino to be kind of strange. On the one hand you have this perfect, white, clean, sterile environment which reminded me of a combination of THX 1138, the aliens from Close Encounters, and the Angels from the Ship of Lights on Battlestar Galactica. Then you have the cloning chambers which looked like a much lighter, less threatening version of the Matrix. The Kaminoans themselves had a very calm, soothing demeanor. Almost too much so, as if they were masking something sinister. Who knows how much they really know about the clone army? It's possible they know all about Sidious' plans and are stringing the Jedi along.
