A bunch of bids were cancelled. It's down to $14,000, I think, but the bidder has -1 feedback.

I wonder what is really inside the jar. Maybe a rotten sausage? Or maybe a paper saying "Sucker" heh

Looks like perhaps transmission fluid and oil. The two substances would have to have different densities in order for the red to stay on the bottom. If it were paint or something similar, it would mix together.

People have sold some strange things on eBay! [face_laugh]

Used to know a link to a webpage that listed all this weird stuff people tried to sell there.

    Whoah, that's a lot of retractions/cancellations!

Man. I wish I had US$51,000 to spend on a jar.

Hope it doesn't get broken in transit. Does UPS have a policy on ghost transportation?

Why didn't the seller cancel gary's bid like he did all the rest who had less than 5 feedback?

Well, it looks like the ghost won't be getting shipped anywhere. The winner most likely has no intention of paying, and that's probably a good thing, as the auction was for a haunted jar, with the intent of making a quick buck for the seller.

    Scam.

    "Scam."

    What?! That can't be...

    I'm so disillusioned.

When you can't trust someone on the internet selling ghost jars, who can you trust?

    Amazing.

Well, ghost or no ghost, that jar alone is probably worth a lot of money. It's a damn cool jar. Perfect for storing some undead cookies in-fact.

I don't know the best explaination for it though.

That is tied for first place as my favorite quote!
Amazing, you are so smart, heh, or witty... Ill stick with a good witty retorter, yeah, that works.

BTW, the quote it is tied with is:
That pig shaped bush frightens and confuses me...
