OOC: Welcome to the RP game, Vegas_Sith!

IC: Qui-Gon looked up to see the surrounding Jedi. His face was red with embarrassment about the Tahl comment from Arwen. "Excuse me," he told the Jedi briskly.

He nodded at Amadeus and the young man got the message. The younger Knight immediately helped Qui-Gon lift a crying Obi-Wan up from his crouched position. Arwen stared as the trio left slowly.

 

Arwen raised an eyebrow and turned to Bant. "So, I guess we're going to be out of this for a bit."

Bant nodded. "Fine," she said, knowing it wasn't really any of her business, even though Obi-wan was her friend.

 

Arwen stood up and paced a while, considering her options. Bant had come to her for help, and she had easily given up with trying to be empathtic and had searched out Obi-Wan. Now that he was incapable, perhaps she sould try again.

Arwen sat down again. "I'm going to try this again now humour me. I want to give some advice, now explain your problems with Tahl to me."

 

OOC: Is Tahl supposed to be away some where, or is there no one to play her anymore? I'll volunteer for her if the latter's true; if not, could I jump in as one of Tahl and Qui's friends?

 

Well, the person who signed up to play Tahl has yet to post, so Iwould say that you could step in as Tahl because we REALLY need one .

I would PM Cow_Girl (she signed up for Tahl) and ask is she still intrested in playing. or else come in as a friend.

Though I would think you could jump in.

Story: grew up and trained alongside Qui-Gon and Tahl, is really good friends with each. Ran a Jedi piloting program for a while on Centax 2, a moon of Coruscant. She met Garen there and took him as an apprentice after the program was shut down.

 

Exasperated, Bant explained, "Well, Master Tahl keeps leaving me behind. I don't want to, but I have to wonder, does she even care still? Am I just not good enough?"

 

Arwen gave Bant a moment to calm herself before replying. "I'm sure she likes you and belives you capable, she could just be concerned about her blindness. Considering this is Master Tahl we are speaking of, it would seem the more logical assumption."

 

"But she's amazing! Even if she is blind!" Bant burst out. She took a deep breath. "I see what you mean, though."

 

OOC Sorry that I have been absent, but I have been really busy with school and I kind of forgot that I had signed off, I am off for winter break now so things should be better

Late was the hour when Tahl found herself finally home at the temple. She had been sent back early from her mission since negoations actually went smoother as she had planned at the warring fractions had actually managed to come to an agreement fairly quickly with Tahls help.

Tahl considered retireing to her Quaters for the night, and then decided against it. While the hour was late, the night still felt young and the last thing Tahl felt like doing was sitting quietly in her room.

Tahl made her way down to the room of a thousand fountains. While she could not see the tiny streams that ran through the garden, she could still hear them. Tahl sat on a stone bench and leaned back against the trunk of a nearby tree, and for the first time in ages, she felt at peace.

OOC: Welcome back!

 

Arwen nodded. "I would say that you two need to sit down a speak about it. She needs to learn to work as a team and you need need the experience."

Arwen toyed with her fingers in her lap. "You just need to understand each other a bit more."

 

IC: Qui-Gon gently settled down a tired Obi-Wan into bed and tucked the boy in. "Go to sleep, Padawan..."

The apprentice's eyes began to droop and soon he fell asleep, tears still glistening on his cheek. Qui-Gon shook his head as he got out of his room. Boys...he thought. What do they know?

He exited to find Amadeus in the living room, where Qui-Gon had told him to stay after helping him escort Obi-Wan to their quarters. "You can go now," Qui-Gon said. "And thank you."

The younger Knight bowed. "My pleasure." He walked out of the quarters.

Qui-Gon sighed. Another tiring day gone, he thought. Maybe I should go and meditate to calm my body. So he went off to the Room of a Thousand Fountains.

When he arrived, he picked his favorite spot, on a bench near the Fountain of Light. Qui-Gon was about to close his eyes when he spotted Tahl sitting on a bench across the room. His heart leapt. He wanted to shout out her name, to call her, but he didn't. Quietly, he got off his bench, and walked to her.

Qui-Gon approached slowly. "Tahl," he said softly.

She opened her eyes, even though she couldn't see him. As he sat on the spot next to Tahl, Qui-Gon could sense that she was a bit uncomfortable. "Anything wrong?" he finally asked.

He longed to comfort her, pat her hand, hold her hand, touch her hand some more. He longed to hold her in his arms, give her warmth, and give her protection. What was I thinking? he thought suddenly. He cleared his mind. He forced his eyes not to linger on her soft lips...What was wrong with him?! He is a Jedi! He can't be like this!

Qui-Gon calmed himself and waited patiently for Tahl's answer.

OOC: Okay, I was trying not to make it too sappy , but hey, Anakin was kinda like this in Ep.III! Hope you people like this post.

Bant looked up at Arwen, "I know. Easier said than done, though. I don't even know when she will be back."

IC: Obi-Wan did not dream that night. How could he? He slept in total blankness, unaware of what was going on between his Master and Tahl at the moment. All he was aware about was...sleeping.

 

Arwen arched an eyebrow. "Perhaps there is a way to find out." Cracking her knuckles, Arwen located Bant's computer terminal and asked her permission to use it.

Settling down in front of it, Arwen's fingers flew across the keypad, typing in commands and hacking deep into the Council's arrival/departure files. She keyed in Tahl's name and raised another eyebrow.

"She's back."

 

Bant watched over her friend's shoulder as she hacked in. "Uh, are you sure that's allowed?"

Arwen turned and smiled, "She's back."

The Mon Cal stared for a moment. "Okay... thanks. I suppose I have to find her now."

 

Anything Wrong?

"Nothing at all" she replied quickly, Realizing that her tone came across as rather harsh, Tahl turned towards her friend and gave him a gentle smile.


"I had just lost myself in thought, nothing is the matter"

Tahl felt Qui-gon shift his weight on the bench, a sign that she had come to reconize long ago as a signal that he was uncomftable about something.

"But I would ask you the same question, is everything alright? Has something happened?"
