Yeah right. Plo Koon would have fried Jango. Don't get me wrong. I love Jango but Plo Koon is the 3rd most powerful (fighting wise) Jedi on the council. He has special talents in TK, TP, and he uses light-side lightning. Jango would have been knocked out cold. Plus he would never fall for the trick that was used on Trebor. Too experienced a warrior Koon is. Do you think Jango could kill Yoda or Windu? Koon is just as good in a fight.

Nowhere in the movies does it state the jedi are all powerful and godlike. That is the assumption that many believe(including my idiotic friends).

However, in TPM, Qui Gon clears that all up when Ani says No one can kill a jedi. So why people still believe jedi are invincible, is beyond me...

BTW- Jango Fett, Unlike Boba, lives up to his title as the most fearsome bounty hunter. He is as bad as they say he is....except when it comes to Mace Windu.

Ya, Jedi Power Battles was good game...too bad videogames are the lowest form of EU...(except Knights of the Old Republic)

I've never played JPB other than a demo as Obi-Wan. The information I used was from the New Essential Guide to Characters and the Stark Hyperspace War. But still he would have destroyed Jango and then held his own against Dooku for a while at least. And I guess you haven't read The Unifying Force. Boba lives up to his rep there.

It would seem very ridiculous, movie-wise, to see one of the most important bad guys of AOTC being killed by a Jedi who never has even spoke one word in the movie. It is nice that George Lucas has spun out a total history of any loonatic alien in his movies, but to me Plo Koon is just eye candy/cannon fodder, just as Coleman Trebor and all the other Jedi that never say a word. Therefore, I believe that any Jedi except the four important ones (Yoda, Mace, Anakin and Obi-Wan)that would replace Trebor in that scene would have been shot down. No matter how good they can fight according to ranking lists that have nothing to do with the movies.

Movie wise yes. But they have a whole background and EU thing and Plo Koon is only after Yoda and Windu on the Council. Well maybe Depa since she uses Vaapad. But still Jango wouldn't have stood a chance.

You miss my point. Plo Koon couldn't have killed Jango because he was a minor character. but technically he would have killed Jango easily.

I get your point, already, but I don't find it really convincing.
