If the Phantom Menace was summed up in one color, what color would it be?

Wow, everyone is saying green or brown!

I personally think blue. Blue shows the calm and peace of the film (compared to the rest of the films) and the galaxy before the dark times (before the Empire ). Then the is also for the sadness at the end, with Qui-Gon's death, but the hope for the future that still lies with Anakin.

 

Each of the colors I listed signifies the colors of the planet and signifies the mood of the galaxy at the time of the movie.

TPM- Green, spring time, the golden age, the good times. Naboo

AOTC- Blue, April showers, the approaching storm. Kamino.

EP3- Red, Anger, hate, heat, fire, hot. The lava planet.

ANH- Brown, Autumn. Tatooine.

TESB- White, winter, the darkness of winter. Hoth and Bespin.

ROTJ- Dark Green, right after winter, End of the Dark Ages. Endor

 

TPM : orangish gold (golden age of the Republic)
AOTC : orangish red (red, the color of war)
ANH : grey (the industrial look of the Empire)
ESB : black (the grimmest time for the good guys)
ROTJ : dark blue (a glimmer of color in the dark times)

 

TPM: Beige
AOTC: Orange
ANH: White
ESB: Blue
ROTJ: Green

 

I don't know why, but I think pink when I consider the color of TPM. Watch the movie and then watch AOTC and then TPM again. You will notice a slight "pinkish" hue to everything if you pay attention. I always associated it with the "lighter" mood of the movie. That, or the camera wasn't digital (as in AOTC) and so it appeared differently.

 

That was a cool post, rpeugh! Nice job. TPM has to be the most vibrantly colored SW movie! I usually think of it as blue or white, though.

 

I would have to either say Blue or White because it is a COOL flick!

I'd have to say red. I don't know why but that was first thing I thought of when I saw this thread. Probably becuase there was a lot of red in the film.

Blue. Seemingly peaceful, but very close in the spectrum to red, the color of danger.

They all complement one another

Orange/Blue Yellow/Purple red/green

 

You can rationalize color really easily if you want.

 

The Phantom Menace is so freaking YELLOW.

Atoc - BROWN (with a tad of light BLUE)

ANH - Sand color BROWN and GREY

TESB - BLUE and WHITE (with a little ORANGE)

ROTJ - BLACK and GREEN
