My funeral, I would want either or all of these:
The music at Shmi Skywalker's funeral.

Some of the music from "Death of Yoda"

And I know it's completely not related to John Williams, but the entire "Death of Spock" thing recreated, with bagpipes and amazing grace.

The last two ideas would work well.

I know it's not JW,and it's not movie music, but it would be funky to have "Can't Stop" by Red Hot Chilly Peppers played at my funeral!

    Just think....

Probably the Grail Theme from IJ and the Last Crusade...I like that piece...sort of forlorn yet hopeful at points...

Knowing my family, they'll "override" my requests and play "Leia's Theme." I'm the only daughter . . . :p

Great suggestions I've seen: Marion's Theme from ROTLA; the "funeral pyre" from ROTJ!!

JW's theme from "Always" is short and sweet.

" . . . Sing thou no sad songs for me."

Since I can't decide between the two, I'd probably play both "The Colonial Cause" -The Patriot, and the binary sunset theme from Ep 4. That would make everyone cry if they weren't already :p

Rick McCallum thinks you're serioulsy deranged!

I'd have the music from ESB, where Han is in Carbonite and they're moving him through Cloud City towards Boba Fett's ship. It's just so gloomy and sinister - perfect for a funeral.

OK, now I've had my Goth moment for today.

From SW, probably binary sunset. Other JW music that's more obsuure: Great music played by Yo-Yo Ma on their collaborative CD, Summon the Heroes has an obviously triumphant feeling, but check out the opening theme of Superman. I believe the track is called "The Planet Krypton". Builds to a great climax then fades to nothing...

Somewhere In My Memory. I plan to be dead around that time of year. And if it doesn't happen that way, the body will have to wait.

    This is an interesting thread...

    Lots of obvious choices...

"Light Of The Force", "The Funeral Of Qui-Gon", "The Death Of Yoda", "Cantina Band"... ;)

It has to be the 15 minute masterpiece 'Adventure on earth'(otherwise known as 'Escape/Chase/Saying Goodbye') from the E.T soundtrack.
I still think it's the greatest most moving piece of music John Williams has ever recorded.

When they cremate me, I want my family to play the following songs:

"Carbon Freeze / Darth Vader's Trap / Departure Of
    Boba Fett"

    "The Clash Of The Lightsabers"

"Rescue From Cloud City / Hyperspace"

And then, ending it all with:

    "Across the Stars"

Duel of The Fates, or The Dark Side Beckons. Better be under a 4:04 minute time hack for the first, though...

But seriously, If the eulogy was about my life, I'd want something like this:

    Childhood: Anakin's Theme
    Growing Up: Force Theme
Early twenties: Across The Stars & the Imperial March
    Marriage: Emperor's Theme
Eventual divorce & redemption: The Force Theme
Wrap it up with Light of the Force.

Jubilee 350 Fanfare. For some reason, I always imagined that as the description of a freed spirit.
