Summary: This is our joint attempt at a winter themed fic! Anakin returns home to find that the twins are sick. We?d say more, but that would just ruin the fun of it all!

I'll Be Home

The splendiferous magnanimous rays of the burgeoning Naboo sun boisterously illuminated his indestructible cerulean orbs whilst he beguilingly watched its majestic virtuousness ubiquitously bathe the heavens with its golden ambience. Anakin?s statuesque frame unswervingly stood upon the edge of a snowy mountainous terrain, and gratifyingly absorbed the therapeutic tranquility of the peaceful planet, as his roguish mane, obstinately undulated over his handsome face. The Force surged through his sculpted body, whilst he meticulously excavated the beautiful lake below? his heart assiduously pounded within his pectorals.

He was home.

An infectious smile masked Anakin?s lean features- after triumphing over the numerous trials and tribulations for eight arduous years, the war was finally over. The perpetually nurturing love of his family, eradicated the tumultuously parasitic tendrils of the dark side, which had loomed over him. Skywalker tensed the sinewy tendons in his muscular torso; an intoxicating feeling avalanched down his vertebrae, The Chosen One had fulfilled his destiny?

?Daddy!?

Anakin gasped, as he felt both his arms synchronously gravitate to the rocky ground. His passionate blue eyes were ignited with eternal love- Luke and Leia adorably clung to his muscular arms and innocently stared at their father, begging him to satisfy their insatiable thirst for his love.

?Luke? Leia...? Anakin reciprocated with an irresistible smile. ?What are you two doing up here?? he questioned inquisitively. ?How did you-? The image of the twins disappeared.

?-Know that you where here?? Padme?s harmonic voice instantaneously bludgeoned Anakin?s loving heart; he could feel his pulse accelerate at an extortionate rate. Her adhering, benevolent orbs captivated his every essence, as her smile articulately brought him into acquiescence.

?Padmé?? Anakin just could not take his eyes off her incomparable beauty, the golden haze of the majestic sun, vibrantly bounced of her superlative chocolate curls, whilst she steadily approached.

?The war is over Anakin, and the Jedi have been declared the saviors of the Republic,? Padmé stated. ?I knew that my handsome Knight would be returning to my arms.?

?But how did you know that I was here?? Anakin asked bewildered.

?Anakin? you?ve been standing here for several hours now,? Padmé argued. ?Don?t you think that the twins would have sensed you by now? They?ve being trying to reach you through the Force, and it seems they?ve been successful. I?m very annoyed with you.? Padmé folded her lean arms around her delicate waist.

?Why?? Anakin asked innocently.

?Luke and Leia have been sick and should be quietly resting in bed, but when their father is standing like a statue on the edge of this high altitude and not coming straight home like he should? it is a little difficult to keep them restrained.? Padmé flared her nostrils.

?I was just watching the sun? that?s all. It?s really beautiful.? Anakin replied.

?You?re not making me jealous aren?t you?? Padmé asked whilst she mischievously bit her crimson lip. ?I can get very possessive, you know.? The adorable senator teasingly moved her mouth closer towards her husband.

Anakin?s heart teetered upon seizure- he was aching to savor the taste of her delectable pouting lips.

?The twins are waiting?? Padmé purred with an impish look that sent him pouting.

After returning home from a long tour in the Outer Rim territories, Anakin Skywalker could honestly say that he was glad to be home. The little

It had never occured to me that Vader could have been dreaming, especially about the twins he didn't know about.

A murderous plot twist, awesome descriptions and vocabulary that not even my dictionary doesn't know.

*laughs* That'd be Heartbreaker *grin* He said so in an interview on the A/P thread recently. Adds a nice touch, yes?


This was very well done guys... the lavish use of the obsure and diverse vocbulary was excellent... And I never had to reach for my dictionary once!


Your plot was evil, just diabolical - and perfectly executed. A marvelous story.

From the first words, I started to move closer and closer to the screen and I didn?t even realise it until I finished reading. This was amazing, although, I don?t know why I?m so surprised. I loved this, amazing job as always guys.

 

Just hit me with a 2 by 4 at the end.... I certainly didn't see that ending coming. That's one of the things that made this so great.

Plus two of my faves collaborating on the same story.

I enjoyed this immensely.
