Smaller than a human thumb, the blue-eared vibropteryx is among the smallest of all tribbetheres. A nectar-drinking specialist, it uses a long brush-tipped tongue to gather its food, which is supplemented with insects. Social and capable of tool use, these small flying fish are smarter than you may expect.

The blue-throated boomsinger of south Serinarcta is one of the largest birds ever to walk the land, weighing over fifteen tons and standing up to fifty feet tall. It is one of the last serezelles, which survived the evolution of more efficiently-feeding circuagodont herbivores by growing to enormous sizes and utilizing food resources out of their reach. Boomsingers are so named for their otherwordly, resonating songs which can be heard for miles, and even further as infrasound through the ground, letting herds communicate over vast differences. Boomsingers are so large as to be virtually gigantothermic, and have lost almost all of their feathers save for sparse plumes on the face. The young are born extremely large - already hundreds of pounds at birth - and are cared for by the herd for a very prolonged period. Boomsingers belong to a clade of placental birds which evolved a quadrupedal state by effectively restarting their evolution from a fetal state in an ancesttal bird that evolved worm-like larvae.

Under Serina's twilit night on the savannahs of Serinarcta a pair of giant boomsingers wanders, flanked by comparatively tiny circuagodont grazers, as several flapsnappers (predatory tribbats) circle around them to hunt nightbiters (parasitic tribbats which bite flesh from the boomsingers).

PERSONALITY-

Atlas is pretty much your typical Herculean Hero stereotype. He has a gentle and polite demeanour around his personality, yet he can be (usually is all the time) a very rash and blunt instrument. His strength and power are his tools to use, his mind however struggles to find the proper use for them all the time.
A leader? Not so much, but attempting to be one, certainly (any chance he gets he takes). Born of true heroic bloodlines of his people, Atlas sees himself as a leader or an icon amongst his own. It is more accurate to describe him as a champion. Yet among his own people, he is just a young person trying to impress the female counterparts.

Friendly and jovial character no mistake, and once his friend, always his friend. He will go the lengths of the universe for you. He will celebrate any victory with the greatest enthusiasm imaginary, and he will sooner die than betray a friend in need or a trusted secret.
His stoic personality, combined with his limited intellect means you can actually get information out of him if you either play it cunningly or... get him intoxicated enough. Atlas loves his drink, and in pleasant company he is pretty much the guarantee of a good party.

Atlas is not well accustomed to be an outsider, or considered either weird or maybe even a freak. Yet being stranded from a far away planet in the system (sol) he is bound to be an outsider.
His strong drive to prove himself, and his worth as an Alpha of his people means he sometimes makes some very confusing all be it tremendously entertaining attempts to impress his surroundings and fellow pedestrians, especially if the last part catches his eyes and interest.
Think of him as cocky stag trying to prove himself the best among the lot.

[Special Abilities/Weapons]

In truth, Atlas raw, Herculean like strength is his most powerful weapon, and the fact that his training keeps pushing his limits to new extends, may prove no end to the measure of hi exact power level.
But he does have some abilities besides that.
For example his species ability to manipulate some metals, (gold as shown around Atlas). With their brainwaves they can open a certain pattern in cloud like fields and through their minds make metals take the most unusual forms. This can only be done in a close proximity to their body, but they can make the metal form and hover around much to the amusement of the kids of their home world.
This has proven helpful in other ways for Atlas in the past though, and though he is not the brightest bulb out there, he learns by either his mistakes or his discoveries.

Atlas is not a warrior per say. He is a champion (in his mindset). He rises to the occasion and he takes charge to help where he can. Sometimes a little dramatic. Some could call him a brute, but that is not what he wants to be. So he often looses his temper with such false descriptions of him.
Coming from a very competitive social environment, he has had to increase both his strength and his defences.
Agility is not his best attribute but with some more training...
Atlas don't know how to train his willpower, that is that of a young male... not worth describing really.
Stamina is a trait Atlas can be very proud of indeed.
Luck is luck, and a measuring it can be very... tricky?


HISTORY/BACKGROUND -

[Background Story]

Atlas comes from a world (forgive the cliché) far far away. His people lives long lives, usually, and fighters emerge both among males and females of his species. There are exceptions to the rules, but Atlas is a pretty natural young man of his people.
The thing that sets Atlas a little aside is his strife to be best, and to help others, as many others as possible.
Being a pretty loose tempered guy, Atlas is bound to get into trouble, especially with authorities - but he would never dream of acting out say against a commander in an army if he was a soldier, but if this said commander was witnessed by him to abuse a lower level private (a close friend of Atlas perhaps) then he would not hesitate to smash said commanders head against the wall so it became a pulpy mass...

And in retrospect... that was perhaps not a good move...
Atlas ended app in an escape pod through the help of friends and was shot out into the wast emptiness of space, until, by change, accident, coincident, or fate? His pod crashed on Saturn beginning his thawing process from cryo sleep (not a nice way to sleep I am afraid).

Picked up and helped by the Saturnian Juniba, he was able to get a foothold in a new reality, in a new world.

[Relationships]

Juniba is his only "Friend" on Saturn. Though he greatly appreciates her helpfulness and already has promised her eternal honourable gratitude, she is... annoyingly distant and oddly immune to his charms. He is very infatuated with her, but feels a certain sadness that she always seems so cold and rude to his approach to her (little does he know, she only maintains a facade in order to maintain her social looks. In reality, she is strongly attracted to him - but being the perfect tsundere, she will never admit it)

Sunny, like many before her, arrived in Tortuga ready to join a pirate crew. With the shackles of the old world left behind, this was a fresh start on life. Unfortunately, finding a crew would be difficult, as most captains had enough green sailors aboard their ships already. This surge of new blood meant there weren't enough boats to go around for all the crew looking for work. After being turned away from many recruiters, she decided to try her luck again tomorrow, maybe after a few pints of ale?

Sunny wound up at a tavern called Drunken Rat, a small tavern near the harbor. The Drunken Rat was a dusty old bar with walls so thin you could see the ocean through the cracks. Despite being a run down looking joint, it was still packed wall to wall with adventurers and pirates. “It's just like the stories!” she thought. After ordering the “smallest” mug of Drunken Rats Ale she noticed a table with a recruitment sign and a red McCaw watching her from the back. Nobody seemed to be paying attention to the sign or the bird, but it was the only table absent of any pirates. Sunny bobbed and weaved through the crowd to get to the vacant table. As she approached the table the room started to grow silent. Everybody in the room now was looking her way as she stood in front of this parrot. Sunny grew very nervous as she wondered if she made a mistake. After about 15 seconds of silence, a man from the crowd yelled, “give him a cracker”. Sunny realized she still had a few crackers on her from the trip and quickly dug one out. As she slowly reached the cracker towards the bird some of the pirates gasped. The McCaw then slowly stepped forward, gave her a stern look then accepted the cracker in his beak.

A loud cheer rang throughout the Drunken Rat as a large bearded man clasped her on the back nearly knocking Sunny over. “Welcome Aboard Matey, ye be one of the Black Rats now” Said the large Man who looked to be the Captain. “Ye be lucky, Coco the Red normally plucks the eye of anybody who approaches him”.

Sunny took a large sigh of relief. Not just because she is now free and not just because she gets to keep her two eyes, but because she found a crew.
