Wikus Van De Merwe's story arc completed. Here's District Trilogy!

Yes, I completed it with mere fan power. And made it to a full blown trilogy, nothing less was unacceptable. If you haven't seen District 9, I strongly recommend you to see it. My District 10 takes place 7 years after District 9, okay, minor spoilers, Christopher promised to return in three years at the end of District 9, but I'm treating this realistically, it has been really seven years after that movie. And anyways that brings more tension and drama, Christopher didn't return when he was suppose to and Wikus is pissed. Moving on. District 11 takes place 9 months after District 10.

District 10 is a alien invasion story, District 11 is a war story with mix of scifi horror. Combined running time is almost 6 hours. Only three cast members from District 9 return: Sharlto Copley, obviously, he's the main character. Vanessa Haywood, she was Tania Van De Merwe, Wikus's wife. And last but not least, Jason Cope, he played Christopher Johnson, I think he played all the prawns. Rest is entirely new cast. There are such big names as Jake Gyllenhaal, Hugo Weaving, Walton Goggins, Peter Stormare, Chadwick Boseman, Djimon Hounsou, Naomie Harris, Lea Seydoux and so on. The epic fan sequel to District 9. Christopher Johnson returns, and this time he doesn't come in peace.

I'm sure Neill Blomkamp makes District 10, well, I'm 60% sure, if he has a ”cool” treatment for it, but in the case he doesn't, here's my crack at the sequel. District 9 meets Zone of Enders, if Zone of Enders is not familiar to you, I have to two words for you: Flying mechs. But without cock cockpits xD With a sub theme of werewolf mythos and main theme of conflict. I think it's too late to explore the three years later Christopher returns scenario, so instead he returns 7 years later, so Wikus is little pissed, he's waited so long that he didn't even believe that Christopher would ever return.

Let's go through the cast. Let's begin from human characters and move from there to alien characters.

Wikus Van De Merwe, played by Sharlto Copley (District 9, Powers). When Christopher didn't return in three years, Wikus is forced to get used to his new life as a prawn. He makes a home middle of District 10, changes his name to Peter Pistorious, so he can hide from the MNU. Days go by scavenging and making trash art, which makes him different from other prawns, not to mention that Wikus has the concept of ownership and is smarter than most of the prawns. He's part man, part prawn, all Wikus.

Dr. Serena Hailey, played by Naomie Harris (28 Days Later, Spectre). Next of Wikus. Doctor of the MSF (Medecins Sans Frontieres) also known Doctors Without Borders. MNU has let the MSF set up a field hospital inside the District 10 from pressure of UIO and non-human rights organizations. Dr. Hailey is Wikus's only human friend and his only contact to humanity, he even has feelings for her.

Major Theo Visser, played by Jake Gyllenhaal (Prisoners, Nightcrawler). Next of the ARC rifle. Major Visser is the sadistic leader of the GEPE-SOL (Genome Perfect Soldier) unit, supersoldier unit created by the MNU. They are half prawn and half humans, able to use prawn weapons. They are MNU's countermeasure against Christopher's return. I know that Gyllenhaal plays usually a good guy, but he would be the perfect guy to play this bad guy, this total opposite of Wikus, you see , Visser is from the outside a human and inside a prawn, while Wikus is outside a prawn and from the inside a human, they are the opposite sides of the same coin, but they can't stand each other. xD

Armand Trudo, President of MNU, played by Hugo Weaving (Matrix, V for Vendetta). Front of Visser. Of course ”Agent Smith” would play the chairman of the MNU. Brutal businessman and skillful manipulator. He's behind the creation of the supersoldiers and did most of the damage control after District 9. Trudo has made MNU more non-human friendly but only in the surface, underneath it all they still secretly exploit the prawns, arming themselves for the return of Christopher.

Lieutenant Esaia Legodi, played by Chadwick Boseman (Gods of Egypt, Captain America: Civil War). Next of Trudo. I know he's busy playing Black Panther, but he wouldn't need to do much in this role. He's the second in command of the GEPE-SOL unit. He's mostly in the background and doesn't seem to be important, but he's more level headed than Visser and seems to be the only nice guy in the unit. He becomes important later and in District 11.

Little One, played by Angourie Rice (The Nice Guys, Walking With Dinosaurs). Little alien in the mech suit. Little One would be played by a girl, but it would be motion captured and prawns are both sexes, so it doesn't matter. Christopher's son, Little One is now 12 years old kid, who has armed himself with a fully armed silver armoured exosuit. He surprisingly becomes an ally of Wikus or Uncle Wikus as he calls him, as they rush to stop Christopher's liberation plans and war against humans.

Christopher Johnson, played by Jason Cope (District 9, Dredd). Above Little One. Jason Cope returns in his motion capture role of Christopher Johnson. Christopher returns after seven years of hardship of convincing the leaders of his homeworld to help his people on Earth. Johnson builds a superweapon called the Lifeformer, he got the idea for it from Wikus. Unlike the terraformer that shapes the environment, Christopher's Lifeformer shapes life. But his naivety and intelligence is exploited by the soldier prawns and mysterious alien leader called the Elder Mother. They have different plans for the human race.

Prawn General, played by Ray Stevenson (Punisher: War Zone, The Transporter Refueled). Next of Christopher. The leader of the soldier prawns, only known as prawn general. As you see, they are slightly different, prawns from a different family tree. Their body is covered by leather armour, which easily can deflect bullets fired from a handgun and direct knife strikes. They are breed solely for war. They are loyal only to the Elder Mother that created them.

Elder Mother, played by Lupita Nyong'o (12 years a slave, Star Wars: Force Awakens). Mysterious four eyed creature above them all. Little is known about them. They look like praying mantis's and in the ancient times they killed their mating partners, this forced the prawns to evolve into both sexes, while mothers became infertile, immortal and gifted with psychic powers. They are almost supernatural beings and gods for some of the prawns. Mothers have horrifying plans for the human race.

And below mother is the Lifeformer. City sized mother-ship. Armed with chemical weapons, plasma turrets and disruptor weapons. Can carry one million soldiers, 5000 drone ships, 9000 drop ships and 500 000 mechs. Enough fire power to protect the main weapon.

Wikus Van De Merwe's story arc completed with huge fan effort. The epic conclusion!

This time District 9 meets Beauty and the Beast meets Metal Gear Solid V meets Mad Max is in total District 11. Takes place 9 months after District 10. After Battle of Johannesburg, South Africa has turned to a post-apocalyptic war zone between prawns and humans. Christopher's weapon chemicals have polluted the terrain and created horrifying monsters called Obi-Jengos, westerners call them Chimeras. This is the setting, and here is the fan picked cast of the final story.

Wikus Van De Merwe, played by Sharlto Copley (District 9, Hardcore Henry). His human side is in the sun, fading, and prawn side next of it. Wikus is still trapped in the prawn body, trying to avoid the war and living with other prawns in the fallen Lifeformer mother-ship wreck, which they call Mother Base, you can see a glimpse of it above the title, in the corner. Wikus has a interspecies relationship with Dr. Serena Hailey, who is trying to find a way to turn Wikus back to human. Wikus's human side is turning the reluctant Wikus as the boss of the prawns, because he can't help but order the prawns around, which has unintentionally made Wikus as the leader of them.

Dr. Serena Hailey, played by Naomie Harris (28 days later, Spectre). She's next of Wikus. Wikus's and Serena's relationship has gone to the next level, which has a surprising result. Serena has become pregnant, which shouldn't be possible. She tries to find a perfect time to tell this to Wikus and doubles her effort to find the cure to turn Wikus to human, because the baby could have the same infection as Wikus.

President Caleb Mthembu, played by Djimon Hounsou (Blood Diamond, Guardians of the Galaxy). Top of the human pyramid. President of South Africa. He lost his son in the Battle of Johannesburg. Losing so many lives and entire city, has made Mthembu very angry. He seeks anyway to get rid of the prawns, get them to District 11, more like a prison island, and throw the key away. Now that the MNU is no more, new weapon company ARES takes advantage of the situation.

Shoemaker, played by Walton Goggins (Hateful Eight, Django Unchained). Former CIA agent, working for ARES (Armed Republic ExportS), think of Clarence Boddicker type villain. Shoemaker is his alias and only name, no one knows his real name. He is sent by the company to help them get the prawn technology. Shoemaker manipulates the Americans and Russians to wage war against the prawns, so the company can steal the technology and get hold of the mother-ship without resistance.

General Ivan Koverlenko, played by Peter Stormare (Fargo, Constantine). Corrupted Russian general next of Shoemaker. Likes to sniff prawn testicle powder, party hard and sleep around. Peter would be perfect guy to play this guy. xD He becomes Shoemaker's ally when he buys Ivan's alliance with diamonds.

Mr. Wandoo, played by Adewale Akinnuoye-Agbaje (Suicide Squad, Pompeji). Dangerous warlord below Ivan. Wandoo likes to wear war paint and steal everything prawn related and sell it to buy arms. Wandoo is also an ally of Shoemaker, but that is short lived alliance. He gets killed by Wikus in opening action sequence.

Esaia Legodi, played by Chadwick Boseman (Black Panther, Captain America: Civil War). Next of Wandoo. Chadwick returns as the last supersoldier from the GEPE-SOL unit. After the fall of MNU, Esaia has been going around the country, helping the civilians during the war. Everything changes when UNOOSA (United Nations Office Of Outer Space Affairs) representative Angela De La Fontaine finds him and asks his help.

Angela De La Fontaine, played by Lea Seydoux (Spectre, Mission Impossible: Ghost Protocol). Next of Esaia. Angela works for UNOOSA. She needs Esaia's help to get behind enemy lines. She has an offer from South African government for the prawn leadership that can end the war, if they choose so. Esaia doesn't know that Angela has more darker intentions for the prawns.

Little One, played by Angourie Rice (The Nice Guys, These Final Hours). He's in the left corner, if you squint your eyes, you can see him. He has upgraded his silver mech to a golden mech. Little One is busy to find a way to send prawns back to their homeworld, like he promised at the grave of Christopher Johnson. Wikus has become Little One's father figure. Wikus believes that Little One and prawns could stay on Earth, if they can make peace, but Little One can't see a future of non-humans and humans living together.
