Warrior Princess project, this time Cinderella. DON'T YELL AT ME. Yes she is android more or less but what ever I did to her costume she looked more and more futuristic and then I thought that '' Why she couldn't be android housekeeper?'' SO now she is. I cannot please everyone.

I really cannot draw weapons, I'm sorry : DDD That arm looks like some coffeemaker hahaha

STORY TIME! Okay, Cinderella's maker is a scientist. He is trying to make an android who have feelings and can be very human like. He treats Cinderella like his own daughter, gives her dress to wear and teach her new things everyday.

One day her maker dies and his wife(evil step-mother) is her new owner. Well she treat her like s*it, her own doughters rip Cinderellas dress for peaces 'cause they think servants cannot wear clothes like humans. Cinderella accept her place as an android-servant as any other androids in their world... Until she meets this fairy godmother lady! Who can make one of her wishes true. Cinderella wishes to be human but fairy godmother can make her a human just for one day and Cinderella agrees.
She becomes a human, escapes out for a day, she meet people in town and the accept her and she couldn't be more happier. She end up for a big big party where she meet very nice man and she dances with him and they talk etc. Cinderella forgets a clock and suddenly middle of the party she transforms(?) to android again and people around her triest to panic who is she guards are asking her to stay away from the prince(suprise!!) 'cause they think all the androids are threat and not allowed to enter prince' party/come to near him. Guards are trying to catch Cinderella and they rip off her left arm but she escapes and hides to shadows.
After this she wents home depressed and her owner(LAdy-evil-mother) gets mad when she sees Cinderella and her arm. She start to mock Cinderella's maker-father and suddenly Cinderella cannot take it anymore.. She kills!!--/(or hurts) step-mother and becomes kingdoms most wanted android who is dangeorous for all humans!!! And then she builds her new hand and stops believing for good-humans... Or something.. Like that.
And the prince finds her arm and tries to find the owner but she is far away and nowhere to be wound...

Dark.

Jasmine ”Red Tiger” for my ”warrior-fantasy-soul Calibur-princess” project~~ I think everything went wrong in this one ::: D I’m not so happy about the pose, blades EVERYTHING. I mean it looks good, I like the colors. The shading of the blades looks so wrong and her left arm is just NO. But.. I still like it. I do like it. Her costume is based on Jasmine’s red .. ”slave” costume because her blue on made her look like Talim from Soul Calibut : DDDD Name could better but I’m out of good names, sorry.

STORY TIME: She should be a thief. I didn’t draw any hood or turban for her ‘cause she doesn’t want to hide her identity, her face scarf is just a cover for sand and dust. She has two blades, cave of wonders and Rajah.

For her I do not have HUGE bg story yet, it’s coming….

And for the watermark: Please, do not remove these descriptions. I have so many e-mails about ”these aren’t historial costumes at all” ”they look like game characters not real warriors!!” etc. My princess project is based on Soul Calibur games, those games are my inspiration not HISTORY. They aren’t supposed to look like historical, men, well armored, REAL warriors or anything like that. They are just fantasy-soulCalibur-inspiration-warrior-princess - pictures. And of course you can ask about them that’s not them problem but that people don’t read/know the descriptions and then send me an angry mail is kinda frustrating. I sound probably like an ass but I'm not mean to.

Alice ”Pillar of Madness” aaaa… Well this picture is kinda mess but I’m very happy it is! It was SO hard to design this costume because everything I wanted to draw on her was old idea thanks to ‘Alice madness returns’ game! > They made amazing costumes for Alice and weapons too! I didn’t want to use any of their ideas so it was hard to make own D First I had an idea of dress made of chess pieces but they have done that too!! So I just ended up making very messy and colorful costume for her with broken tea cups, clock, shield and weapon the flamingo.

STORY TIME: She is about 15-16 years old and get stuck in Wonderland where her majesty the Queen decides to name Alice her guard. For what? Nothing I guess, Queen just said so so her have to. Mad Hatter and March hare made her costume and Hatter even give her on of his shoes. (other one is from MR. caterpillar) She can summons Cheshire Cat with her chield, no one know is it going to work or not.

“Hun Hunter” - warriot. I had A LOT of problems with her… Colors, pose .. EVERYTHING. But for now.. she is okay. Not great but okay. I made like 20 sketches of her, I hardly made even 2 of other ladies :–D I somehow want to draw her again and make it better.

Her story: After saving the whole china she decides to find all the huns who are left and kill them all!!! Or something. I haven’t have time to think her story much since I wasn't happy about the picture.

I've been doing a lot of Dune art in the past few months but I kinda forgot to post anything here because I mostly use Instagram for art sharing. This is my rendition of Duke Leto Atreides and Jessica before their departure to Arrakis. I tend to put a lot of references in my costume designs similar to the way the Game of Thrones costume designer was doing to reflect moods, allegiances, foreshadowing events, etc. I wanted Leto’s royal uniform to be less military than Duncan’s and to have more fancy ornaments and decoration. Considering Leto was loved by everyone and in general is a cool dude I decided to have his outfit more relaxed and flow-y, which is also a juxtaposition between Caladan and Arrakis. Nevertheless it was important to highlight that him and Jessica are walking in a trap, which is why I included many ropes in his robe, especially putting emphasis on the noose around his neck. And just to make sure it’s obvious enough I designed his shoulder armor in the shape of a dead eagle (Maybe too much?) for Jessica I went more subtle because she wasn’t the leading part of the dynamic, at least in front of people. There was a lot of scrutiny and mistrust about her being a Bene Gesserit and I decided to embrace that by giving her a rather revealing/provocative dress. I also wanted to incorporate some chains and wraps to imply that similar to Leto, she is walking into a trap. I tried to make her age seem ambiguous, both young, wise and intimidating because you are always suppose to question those Bene Gesserit women. (And yes, no blue within blue eyes just yet) Initially I gave her jewelry which was “growing” from her hand up so it can symbolize the change she eventually bring to the universe but I decided to scrap it because it was too much.

Strangely, the character design for Paul in probably my favorite in a long time. There is a Muad’dib version of him which I will post shortly. In here I wanted to depict Paul and Chani in the early Dune days, when him and Jessica joined the fremen in the first book. I wanted his stillsuit to be very slick but also to incorporate some decorative armor to emphasize his higher status. For Chani also went even more simple and slick, but I also gave her a weapon, some fremen face tats and of course blue within blue eyes (in this case grey within grey). Im already working on Abomination Alia and Darwi Odrade and will wrap everything with an Emperor Paul drawing before moving to Game of Thrones. Hope you guys like it, stay at home and wash them bloody hands in these crazy times!

This time I finally managed to do a drawing of the MVP Dune character - Duncan Idaho. ✨⚔️ I was planning to do God Emperor first but in all honesty, drawing massive worm dudes is more challenging that I expected. Will definitely finish him before I move to other things (Harley and hyenas whoo?) Anyway, Duncan Idaho, the baddest mofo of Dune, here he is. I really wanted him to be a poster boy for the Atreides family, which is why I made his armor very bird-like and i thought a cape will be a good look even if it’s not very practical in a combat. And inevitably I have to mention that even though I consider the upcoming Dune movie cast to be near perfect, casting Jasos Momoa is a mistake in my opinion :/ I like him just as much as everyone else, but he is just not the Duncan Idaho we deserve. You know who would have been great??? Maybe Oscar Issac who IS ACTUALLY IN THE MOVIE. Either way, i hope I’m wrong. ‍♂️ Also there is an old Duncan drawing in here that I never finished because I thought it was crap but why not share it anyway

I’ve been trying to get an Irulan design for years now (will upload some old wips tomorrow) and finally I’m happy with something. In my opinion, Irulan is one of the most underrated Dune characters and I’m also bummed out that they haven’t announced a casting for her yet like wtf! Anyway is a shot from the Dune Messiah period where Irulan is “technically” married to Paul. And we all know that even if she is royalty just on paper, she will make an entrance wherever she goes. For the costume I definitely wanted to incorporate elements both from House Corrino and Atreides. And even though she is covered in feathers, the lion always stays on top.

Here is an interpretation of Paul in the height of his power during the events of Dune Messiah. Admittedly this is not the most conventional portrayal of Paul but I have a feeling the Dune movies are heading in a very grounded direction with their costumes and I’m not about that life. I think the more Dune I’m drawing the more my designs are getting closer to Moebius’ original wacky vision for Jodorowsky's failed adaptation?! Anyway, here I wanted to depict Paul as a mix of a Greek god and Gladiator and wanted his expression to be rather intense and intimidating (you know, he’s like, the supreme being in the whole universe but no big deal). Also similar to Alia, I decided to give him an Atreides inspired crown. I wasn’t initially planning to draw him shirtless but it kinda made sense for the most powerful human to not even bother with armor. Finally, I had his arms covered with tattoos at an earlier stage to reflect the Fremen influence, but ultimately I decides to scrap them, as the design was already quite busy. In all honesty I don't see Paul walking like that on a normal day, but it's definitely a look I can see being used to intimidate. Similar to how his throne room was optically made to look bigger and more grand just to make visitors more unsettled.

Next in the Dune series, the one and only Alia Atreides. Most people usually think of a 4 year old child with blue within blue eyes when Alia is mentioned, but I decided to depict her in her Dune Messiah days. It’s been awhile since I read that book but I have some memory of Alia giving mass for the people in Arrakeen, and I thought it would look interesting to illustrate her before this moment. I really wanted her design to remind of a Greek goddess for two reasons. First, the Atreides bloodline is set to start with Agamemnon (yes that guy from the Iliad) and second, at this point Paul and Alia are basically the most powerful beings in the universe which kind of equals a God status. Also I wanted to have her dress very revealing, as Alia’s sexuality is important aspect of her character development in Dune Messiah.
