"Come on dear. We have an announcement to make" said the Goblin Mountain King, waving his hand to Kuku, the changeling elf raised by goblins.

"But I'm only an interpreter! Don't you mean the Ambassador, your Majesty?" she asked, following the Goblin King as he waddled out from the Great Hall of the ancient dwarven mine the goblins used as their den, out to a ceremonial square turned market by the goblins.

The goblin king dismissed the comment. "He's probably busy anyway, trying to impress my harem."

As the goblin king entered the market square, the guards of the king began shouting, yelling and ordering everybody to kneel to their king. The slower ones received some quick reminders by the eunuchs, what happened to whoever challenged the authority of their monarch.

"What's the announcement, your royal majesty?" asked Kuku the Goblin-Elf, a bit nervous for her overstepping her role in the mission by the Orc Queen.

"The alliance and the marriage, of course!" the goblin king said.

"But the Queen isn't here!" Kuku dutifully noted. "How could the marriage be held then?"

"Oh, I'm sure my priests can figure that one out. What my people need is a good celebration, so let's give them a reason for that! So, to the marriage!"

"But-how?"

"As the Ambassador of the Orc Queen of the Horde of Antor, you will officiate as her proxy, of course!"

"But I'm not the Ambassador!" Kuku said.

"Well, if you didn't noticed, my whole court is made up of nots! My enemies say that I'm Not a Goblin, because my mother was a dwarf, yet I rule a as King in a Goblin Realm in the Roof of the World, the Mountain of Kaiehm. Some say that my guards, being eunuchs, aren't really males. Yet no other goblin had found out more loyal palace guard, and just watch how quick and effectively they made a whole square of goblins to shut up and kneel.

Having this sort of power, real power... do you think I care for what things are not?

So, ambassador. Let's make this marriage between Kaiehm and Antor official!" said the Goblin King, before turning to the kneeling crowd...

decided to put up a list for Gobril 2021, using some of the feedback of the World of Aiers Discord users.

The prompt for that day was Not Goblin. There where many, many, MANY possibilities, with such a prompt. Some of them was to draw again Gobboss the Wizard, who most definitively isn't three goblins under a coat, one of my hobgoblins -that aren't quite goblins, but in the World of Aiers, descendants of Orcs and Goblins-, or to continue to beat the dead horse with the jokes of Bog the Barbarian, who clearly is as well Half -but not full- Goblin. In the end, I decided for Kuku the Goblin-Elf, continuing with a story I'm basically doing a single drawing for it on a year.

"...look, I'm just saying, the purse: it may be a fashionable accessory, but now I don't know what to make it. I'm almost grateful these human cheap bastards rather than throwing a proper feast, are doing the stupid-elf-thing of mingling, standing around being served these small snacks. And why does the servants keep going away with the trays?! I still hadn't finished eating!" protested the dwarven noble woman from Gmonia.

"Oh, I can see the use of such a thing! You could probably store some of your poisons there!" said helpful a drow -one of the spider-silk merchants from the world down below. Normally drows wouldn't be around non-drows like this, but these social gatherings meant connections for later important business. And since she couldn't stand any of the Light Elves -be the High Elves of Dirith, the Grey Elves of Purpurian or the Hebonnor Mountain elves-, she decided to hang around for a bit with other dwellers of the world below.

The dwarf of Gmonia glanced at the drow, almost saying "drows and their poisons". But refrained herself from doing that.

"So. Are you going to go to the ball of the King of the Mountain?" asked the goblin princess.

"The Elf King of the Mountain, or the Dwarf King Under the Mountain?" said the dwarf. "Because there's no way I'm going to the Mines of Nortunk for the dwarf-thing"

"But you are a dwarf! Why wouldn't you want to go? You have been nagging for all the evening, that this isn't a proper festivity as only dwarves know to do!"

"Yeah, but they are Nortunk Dwarves. Not Gmonian Dwarves. Don't you know what they wear for formal occasions? Armours. That KILLS my back"

"I don't see the problem with ceremonial armour" said the drow.

"Oh, I don't mean these strips of metal and leather you kinky dark elves call Ceremonial armour for your Orgies. I mean Armour. For most signs, plate armour when possible." the dwarf explained. "If you want to the ball of the King Under the Mountain, you have to be presentable, or you would be the laughing stock!"

"I like more the Galawkey High Orc approach! Clothes INSPIRED in armour! You question yourself: It's that SCALE MAIL, or SPARKLES?" said the goblin princess. "I looked GORGEOUS in my dress in the Gala of Galawkey! So ****ing Posh!"

"Speaking, love your dress. Where's from? Don't think I had seen such quality goblin-made cloth!" the drow merchant asked. She didn't liked the dress, but she always had interests in cloth and possible outsourcing cheaper fabrics.

"The Loot of a Caravan, of course!" said the goblin.

"Oh, I see" the drow said, nodding. "It's not like there would be any sort of fashion invented by goblins, others would want to use!"

The dwarf looked up and down the goblin princess, and then at her feet.

"While in general I would agree with that statement, I could see in Gmonia THAT gaining traction." the dwarf noble pointed.

"Oh, isn't it great?" said the goblin princess with a toothy smile, moving the dress around to show the servant crawling down in fours, over who she was standing. "It's a little thing I thought myself! Isn't it great? And if you want, you can wear a longer dress, and nobody would be able to tell he's down there!"

"Mmh. I too would see some drow women, standing on drow-men, now that you mention it" the merchant said, surprised for goblins to make such useful discovery!

"Isn't uncomfortable?" asked the Dwarf.

"Nah, I'm used to it" the princess said. "You just have to do a bit of equilibrium, but it isn't as difficult as using these damn high heels elves love so much!"

"I meant, for the servant?"

"Whaa- no, of course not. He even get to eat the scraps I drop on the floor! Isn't that great?"
