    Can anybody tell me or refer me to a website with the full Imperial code. I already know some of them. For example:
    7 = R
    Y = V
    I can't get in the complex symbols but would someone please tell me a website where I can find these?

    I'm not sure if this is the best category to put this topic under and if it is sorry and please refer me to another category.

    I'm not quite sure what you're referring too here, but if you are talking about the script you see in most star wars scenes (ie, aboard the tydirium) then that is actually a hebrew (i think) language called Aurabesh.

    EDIT: you can download the font here @ TF.N Multimedia

    Also in ANH(and a few other places(including ship names)), we see they also write with the english alphabet as well.

    yeah, like the tractor control stations...though i think we can safely say flagg's talking about aurabesh- the english language doesn't need that much deciphering. ;)

    Thanks for the info darthjarjarbinks. I was talking about the Aurabesh and I didn't know it was an actual language. So thank you VERY much.

    Hmmm, I always thought that was aurabesh.

    The downloadable version of aurabesh was based off of the letters seen on the Tydirium's control screen. I think it was made by West End Games for the star wars roleplaying game. It's also used in the game Jedi Knight. If you tried to use it to translate the code seen in the movies, you'd end up with a long meaningless stream of letters and numbers.

    Yes, but most other EU sources use the Aurabesh code from WEG, if you learn it, you got more to read sometimes... (comics, games, etc... :D )

    And, in fact, the old design of the WotC website had Aurebesh under the SW section, and it said a very naughty word up in the corner of the screen. :D

    The Aurebesh

    [image=http://www.theforce.net/swtc/Pix/given/black/text_202.jpg]
    A screen seen upon a shuttle's arrival at the DS2.

    F B N E V Y TH ; K F B N E L V
    I S Q KH M Z C D G U I S AE KH M
    EO L S K Y E X H T EO S K Y E

    H M OO AE N A B Z U H M OO AE N G
    AE E X Q Z NG T KH S AE X Q Z NG
    I H V Q T NG B X D L I H V Q T NG

    A F AE E U K G D EO Z A AE E M U

    M EO NG M Y ? X AE CH EO NG H M N

    An attempted translation of that screen.

    Aurebesh, BTW, is not an actual realworld language, while some of the characters may be based upon real-world letters and symbols.
