The Nazi colonel in Raiders was a German actor, and the Nazi actor in this last one was also German.

 

Mads Mikkelsen actually speaks surprisingly well German. His brother even acted in German TV before becoming Thrawn. But yeah, other franchises put a little bit more effort into this. For 300 million budget you think they could cast a Greek actor.

Has anyone seen confirmation that the DOD blu ray and dvd is being released in countries other than the US?

 

Not yet. my german bluray collectors side has reported on the US release though. I am sure there will be an announcement soon

 

German releases just getting to be available for preorder! release date is december 8th!

 

I think a young Indy project could be cool with a recast version of Indy. Lots of great stories to be told in the times between the first 3 movies. Or even a younger origin type story. I am afraid Disney may be a bit skittish due to how bad Indy 5 flopped, but if they keep budgets low this could work, I believe.

Ultimately what doomed Indy 5 was an outlandishly high production budget.

 

UK releases were confirmed yesterday too.

 

Finally we're getting to complete the movies. with Young Indy Ill have a very full set.

 

I've preordered all editions of the movie. All set for the release!

 

Does ANYONE has the Indy V Score CD? I dont find it anywhere and its not available in germany to buy.

Maybe somebody has multiple copies and is willing to sell.

 

I have both the CD and vinyl versions on order from Disney Emporium, I just checked their status and it says in 'in progress', so who knows when or if they are going to be released. It beggars belief that possibly the final score from JW isn't getting a worldwide readily available physical release.

Over the last month the Disney Emporium was opening up a pre-order at various intervals for the soundtrack. Might be worth keeping your eye on that.

I saw someone selling a copy of the cd on ebay, turns out it was a CDR ripped from the digital version thats out. So don't be fooled by anything on ebay yet.

 

Embarrasing that Williams last Score isnt getting the attention it deserves. The CD isnt avaiable for preorder on Disney Emporium side and cant be found anywhere else. They should be ashamed!

 

Both of my orders for the soundtrack on CD and LP have a shipping date of 25th Oct - I'm not holding my breath for it.

 

Id wish the CD was still available for order...

 

Had an email to confirm that my LP version of the soundtrack has shipped.

 

The shipping date for my soundtrack CD has been pushed back 2 weeks to 8th Nov. This is an absolute disaster of a soundtrack release.

 

They should be ashamed of themselves!
