Indy 5 Indiana Jones & The Dial of Destiny All Aboard the Hype Train to June 2023!

The title is okay. All that matters is how good the movie is. Seems to confirm the time traveling thing. Maybe will tie into Crystal Skull. The aliens left a time traveling artifact on the moon which is how they traveled here from another time. The US and Russians and former Nazis all want it.
I just thought of a cool ending. Indy chooses to go back in time to be with younger Marion. Series rebooted.

 

I'd expect the gun control lobbyists to find that objectionable.

I agreed with this opinion initially, but letting the title sit for a while longer I think it does qualify in the epic and mythical category.

Given the title (insinuating time travel, I'd imagine) and the little UFO on the board during Dr. Jones' lesson, it's definitely looking more and more likely that Die Glocke will be central to the plot, if not the actual core MacGuffin itself.

Man, I am so in. Mangold fits this world and character like a glove while also seemingly evolving everything past what we last saw in 2008/1957, and it feels like Ford hasn't missed a beat.

This is the most excited I've been for a movie since the build-up to The Force Awakens.

 

Good to see Indy punching Nazis.

 

It's impossible not to get chills seeing Indy and Sallah and hearing Williams' themes!

Hiring Mangold to take over for Spielberg is already paying off -- the cinematography looks a lot better than Janusz Kaminski's cheap-looking, Vaseline-smeared, blown-out mess (I still can't get over how ugly that movie is).

The de-aging effects look great, but the action shots don't do much for me - I'm way more excited to see Indy in the classroom, in a museum, in a bar. I want him to save the day with brains and courage, not brawn (though I liked him cracking his whip).
