OK, it seems fairly obvious now I must be the only person in the JC who's playing this on PS2... :(

Well, for what it's worth... it gets better and better and better with each stage. I just finished the Istanbul section of the game -- that Kraken sure was a pain to kill.

Oh yeah, I've got all the 9 artifacts so far... walkthrus are your friend! :)

Well, it only took me about a week to beat the game...

It sure was a lot of fun, although I can't deny being somewhat disappointed to see that the only thing you get for collecting all 30 artifacts is just a crummy gallery.

Still, very much looking forward to the next Indiana Jones game... :)

I just took a moment to read the thread, and wondered how peoples' opinions have shaped up now that the game is out and available to play.

The ending was out there a bit, but not as much as Infernal Machine. Did it sit any better with you jp-30?

Maybe I don't play enough games, but I thought it was a dynamic, fast-paced, and fun game. Combat improves miles past Infernal Machine, but regrettably puzzles still do not.

I enjoyed the flow of the game and longed for a few more sub-levels here and there, especially in the Hong Kong and Temple of Kong Tien Chapters. The levels fly by when you're having fun. It's definitely made its way onto my replay list, especially when it's divided into sub-levels and I can just load up my favorite ones at any time.

Don't know yet. I need a new video card before I can play it. Maybe for Christmas and in time for KOTOR? :)

I'm currently playing and I'm... //thinks// umm, just past the parts where you incounter the sharks and get the oxygen tank.

Question: Did anyone else have the sharks totally ingore / not try and eat you? Are they just for show? The crocodiles ate me silly, but those sharks just ignored me, or swam right behind me and didn't try and eat me. LOL.

I don't mind, honestly, I just thought it was a little odd. :p

liking the game, though the camera is a bit weird. (reminds me of ForceCommander - but I'm getting the hang of it.) I like the various fight moves, though they are usually by chance, rather than me actually implementing them. And swimming is a struggle - but getting the hang of it :p

I've been stuck at this place for a week now - playing on and off inbetween JA demo and assignments for university. :p

I'm trying to out run the mad nazi dude on a tunneling machine and I'm trying to run and jump (using the whip) over holes.

    So, frustrating.

    :p

Well, I finally got to install this game this morning. I'm only on the training level, trying to make the "wall hug / ledge walk" work when I had to leave for work.

What I don't get is the controls. I'm sure they'll grow on me (I tried both Mouse & dual-stick gamepad). When you're not moving, what would normally turn your character to face a new direction only moves the camera. It's damn frustrating, and I keep getting stuck in corners.

Still I've only played it for 10 minutes, so I hope I get used to the controls before too long.

The brawling is sweet, I must say. Using the shovel to bash someone's head is hilarious. :D

I don't recall speaking to thee casle, so I can only suggest you Consult a walkthrough (try gamefaqs.com)
