Are you asking me the person or my Loyalist viewpoint I was arguing for?

EDIT: Oh, don't worry, I didn't take the argument too personally. I was a bit miffed, but most of my response was more concerned with debating style than whether I felt hurt or not.

I do appreciate the apology, though, it's rather gracious of you.

Jello: speaking in-character, what would be your view of the way the descendants of Sith halfbreeds like the Myke are shown operating within the Imperial organization - and apparently regarded by Imperial policy as 'human'? [face_mischief]

I believe the EU "Sith as a race" theory has been debunked by recent developments.

I thought the ancient Sith were those insect dudes I keep on hearing about in the literature, Ah though I don't think the name of that species has ever been confirmed to exist. I know that the Sith breeded with the Massassi but I don't think that is it.

As I said, I think that particular plotline has been dropped.

Firstly, do note that I indicated that an ape is genetically closer to a human than a Mon Calamarian would be. You brought up the very touchy subject of racial purity, which suggests you were either being deliberaly infammatory or were hoping name-calling would substitute for a shoddy argument.

Unfortunately, racial purity is not part of the issue since it is impossible to breed with a sentient fish, much less something as close as an ape.

Now now, take care to read the post you're replying to. I never said it was possible to breed with a sentient fish. I said a relationship with a sentient fish is possible, as it is capable of feeling love and compassion for another.

For your second part: read the very post you're replying to. I anticipated that PRECISE angle and already addressed it as a caveat. I'd repost it here, but I do certainly believe that people should actually read the posts that they are replying to.

I can't be arsed to read every post in this thread, particularily since your arguements are all the same and I can't afford to be on here all day.

Okay I have a question for everybody else who has been going on this thread. How would you feel if somebody you know, possibly personally, whould have a relationship with another sentient species?

I ask this because Grandadmiraljello is supposed to answer a post on this subject, but he has not done that yet, so I am asking you all. Would you support/encourage it or would you try and get that person to go out with a real human being?

I'd disapprove, but it's not my concern.

    You said it yourself: half-breed.

I'm aware of that. That's why I was talking about racial purity.

What does racial purity have to do with different species that could never possibly breed?

Well, then I'm afraid you've been countered before you even started.
