I like all of those, being that you are the one who actually reads the books and took time to come up with all of those. :)

    I was thinking something like:
    "Wild West Reading Fest"

or we could use a relavent, thoughtfull name like the the ones above. :)

I am gonna start reading though, I'm getting shatterpoint or Tatooine Ghost tonight!

    "Storytime with Pastor Adam..."
    Jeez, THAT'S funny Stacky! :)
    My two cred's worth:

"8 men who pronounce funny names 8 different ways."
Not good? Neither is this one:
"The Something about the Vong, everyone laughs, Something about Thrawn, everyone laughs, Hutteniese Porn, everyone laughs, Shameless Wild West Wedding plug, everyone goes home club" :)
Just kidding, oh and Cole I still have a ccg pack I meant to give you.

Sorry I missed the Saturday meeting, but I had to pack my bags. Sadly I must depart the E'ville Jedi and go to school. Wright State University (in Dayton OH) has offered to pay me to get my Masters from them. I leave next Monday, come back to the tri-state on the 29th and then leave for good on Sept. 8.

You guys are the BEST! You have filled the past seven months with a lot of fun and geekyness. OLDBIES: Thank You for letting me share in your group. I know you guys have worked hard to make it the fun club it is.
NEWBIES: Thanks for showing up and not making me be the only new guy. Steve you?re the best; sorry this sounds like I'm writing in your yearbook, but you are a man of great humor and you own a puppy I have no clue why you hang out with us instead of landing hunnies at the park.

Cole and Stacky: Look forward to college, it will be the best four years of your life!

Scott and Adem: thanks for being warm and welcoming me into your club.

Well, go to go feed my sea-monkeys!

Oh, some of you asked, the username is from a line in Raising Arizona....and a Jedi Knight Cheat Code.

    Matt:

Good luck with your Master's program! One of these days, if I don't find a full time teaching job, I would love to take a sabbatical from banking and go back to school full time to pursue a Masters. Heck, if I had the money, I'd get a Doctorate. I hope that you will come back to visit on break.

Well, once again, good luck and have fun. Molly (my dog) wishes you her best as well.

As I write this, I am watching season 3 of Babylon 5 (with the commentary on). B-5 rocks! Plus, the cutie that I bought it from walked out of the store with me arm in arm (the security device wouldn't deactivate, so she had to escort me past the beeper - yeah beeper!) Incidently, she called me her "Scooby Steve", which was a reference to an Adam Sandler movie. Is this a good thing or bad thing?

    Peace,

    Sms

Edric: arm in arm with a hunny...Always a good thing. Next step, see if she wants to watch some B-5 with Molly. :)

What a day!! My would be hunny is 12 years my junior, so I hope that won't scare her off. I'm not sure if she would enjoy B-5, but I think Molly would be a good selling point.

B-5 continues to rock. They don't make them like this anymore.

This should probably be on the movie thread, but I'm to lazy to do two posts tonight: are we going to eat afterward? I really have a craving for Crab Ragoon :)

    Peace,

If people want to eat, we can eat. If people don't, we won't :p

That's something we can figure out when we're there.

So, what you're saying is if people want to eat we'll eat, if not we won't and we'll decide there? :) :)

I've really had a bad day. I'm starting to sound like one of my co-workers who is the reason that I keep TUMS on my desk. I wonder if ground up TUMS in milk would make a good milkshake? :)

    Later,

Tumsman and pepto would probably go get a "SPAM" sandwich and wait for a more diabolical "Nemesis" to engage in a verbal sparring match! :)

Anyway, I'm thinking, after rereading some of Remnant, That Palleon is to the Empire what Ackbar is to the Alliance. Let's remember to talk about that at the meeting.

Hello, one and all. Next Tuesday is the next book club meeting. Topic of discussion for the night is Force Heretic I: Remnant.

Unfortunately, next Tuesday is also my birthday. As much as I love each and every one of you, I am not spending my birthday at Barnes and Noble. :p So I need someone to volunteer to lead the discussion that night. Whoever does this is guaranteed the comfortable chair for the evening. Somebody please step up and be Master Yoda for that night. Thanks.

EDIT: By the way, I haven't forgotten about a name. I will have the poll up in the next day or so. Sorry about the delay.

    Greetings from Muncie!

Okay, since I'm five hours away, and without a car, and with classes on Tuesday and Wednesday, and those classes will be my first sessions of those classes ... *deep breath* I won't be there. But I expect it will be just as fun and ... [insert synonym of 'fun' here] as usual.
