I am also of the opinion that Dooku is working against the Sith as well.

However, he might still be a traitor to the Republic and Jedi.

Who knows, he might want a middle ground- not siding with the Republic and Jedi, but not wanting the Sith in power either... or he might want to be in control of thgings instead of Palps.

I watched all the commentary now. Dooku is just a guy gone power hungry. Palps needed someone after the untimely death of Maul and Dooku, probably already learning dark side crap-o-la on his own, needed further help.

I say that maybe both were using each other. Palps was using Dooku as a fill in until Anakin could be turned and Dooku was using Palps untill he learned enough to be the big dog. Palps must not be that nice of a Sith Master, cause both Tyranus and Vader wanted to jump ship. If only everyone could be as obedient as Maul. Less headaches Palps would have had.

You don't really need the commentary to know Dooku is evil. He kills almost 200 hundred Jedi! These are poeple he grew up, trained with and pledged his life to. That's pretty messed to set them up for death all in the name of makingthe government more fficient.
