He had no time for a full relationship being a bounty hunter and all. I'm sure he'd have a problem finding the right woman anyway, they'd probably be after him just for his legend, nothing more, especially in that galaxy far, far away.

And besides that, Jango only wanted Boba to be Jaster's legacy. He couldn't do it himself, for a variety of reasons, so he cloned himself.

 

Be careful Haydenseek, you're gonna get millions of Jango clones attacking you for such a suggestion.

In the line of work Jango was in, attachments could be lethal - too many chances for betrayal. I doubt Jango would have trusted a woman, let alone let her get close enough for intimacy. The Jango/Zam comics that came out about the time of AOTC had a hint of a budding friendship between Zam and Jango, but look how that ended up.
By getting Boba as a clone, he had someone to pass his skills on to without the problem of a relationship. So I don't think Jango was sterile - just that he didn't want that kind of complication in his life.

In the novelization, it says that Jango wanted more than just a son-he wanted another him, who would grow up without all the hardships that Jango went through, and with a loving, caring father.

Boba was to be Jango, only better.

Talk about parents living vicariously...

Mr_Mwindu, I have thought that is why he has such a macho image. He was probably like a little girl and before Boba came along he would cry himself to sleep and wish that he could have someone to hold.

Especially on those stormy Kamino nights.
