So,after Darth Maul is killing Qui Gon,is Obi Wan using the Dark side to defeat Darth Maul?
To me,it seems Obi Wan is under the influence ot fhe dark side.

In the novelization - a point is made of how Obi-Wan is calming down in that "hanging off pit" moment - he was angry - but anger made him careless and allowed Maul to beat him. Only when he has calmed fully, and returned to Jedi serenity - is he able to pull off that trick.

I think he is definitely giving into some baser instincts there. Whether it's fear, anger, or just plain adrenaline I'm not sure. But there's something definitely there beyond just the Jedi serenity stuff.

Obi Wan is clearly under the influence of the dark side, when he cuts in half the sword of Darth Maul:

Question is,how much importance in the victory of Obi Wan had the fact he cut the sword of Darth Maul in half?

He's not serene, but I think he is using the Force for defense, not Dark Side behavior.

No. Darth Maul fed from his fury and disarmed him while he was using dark rage / force rage, but in that pit, he was calm and Maul was toying with him and Maul didn't think that Obi-Wan is going to take fallen Qui-Gon's weapon and attack him. It was a mere cheap-shot, not like winning a duel or something.

    Oh really?
Please watch the movie again,Obi Wan is cutting Darth Maul sword in half, overpowering him in brute force.
And kicks him after with his foot, throwing Darth Maul to the ground.
Just the fact that Obi Wan do not know enough to use the sword to fast stab Darth Maul, while Maul is knocked on the ground, saves Darth Maul.
That happens because Obi Wan is very young so,not that too skilled in using the sword.
Lol,Darth Maul is a great Sith Lord but he is overpowered in brute force,by Obi Wan,a Jedi Padwan.
So this is how strong is Obi Wan as padwan, when under the influence of the force rage/dark side.

Obi wan admits in classic trilogy, that he was filled with anger, when he was young:
"Yoda: [Looking away from Luke] I cannot teach him. The boy has no patience.
Obi-Wan: [voice-over] He will learn patience.
Yoda: Much anger in him... like his father.
Obi-Wan: [voice] Was I any different when you taught me?"

    And yes,as said above:
" and Maul didn't think that Obi-Wan is going to take fallen Qui-Gon's weapon and attack him. It was a mere cheap-shot, not like winning a duel or something."
Obi Wan is deceiving Darth Maul,to defeat him.
From what I remember, deceiving in battle is a dark side ability,of the force.
So I think Obi Wan actually use hatred and anger to cut Darth Maul sword in half and later,
deceival,to cut Darth Maul in half.
Because Obi Wan is masking his intention.
So,I think actually Obi Wan is using the dark side of the force,to kill Darth Maul.
He is not using light side,in a straight and fair way.To cite from Sidious "The dark side has made you powerful" :D .
The fun thing is that Yoda do not knows how Obi Wan defeated Darth Maul, when he grants the title of Jedi Knight,to Obi Wan.

IMHO It is quite clear (supported by musical cues and the novels) that Obi-Wan was angry when he first engaged Maul after Qui-Gon's death. Some may consider that to be under the influence of the darkside. (To which I question, does one minute of rage make one dark?)

Anyway, AFTER falling into the pit (musical cue again), Obi-Wan calms himself and discards good and bad emotions and reaches for the Force and an answer.

So to answer the question, NO, Obi-Wan did not kill Maul using the dark side. Some may think he had used earlier in the fight, some might not, but he was not at the time of Maul's actual defeat.

Actually Obi Wan is only of an apparent calm.
He is still fueled by strong hatred, against Maul ,this is why he cuts Maul in half,to kill him, cause he could have cut
Maul's arm,to disarm him,if he would have really followed the Jedi way.
That strong hatred against Maul makes Obi Wan able to do such a huge leap.

Nope, that leap was a Jedi ability, not a hate fueled one.

    How do you know?
Look at Sidious,he actually gets the higher ground but jumping up.
Obi Wan was only a Padwan, his huge leap is weird.
What Obi Wan does is that he actually focus, very hard,to be able
to do telekinesis on the light sword of his master, catch it in his hand
and light it and cut Maul in half, very fast.
Before,Obi Wan is afraid, but he dominates his fear.
Fear is not good for neither Siths or Jedis.
Remember again what Sidious says, when talking to Anakin:
(remember that Obi Wan himself agrees that he was filled with anger, when he was young.
He was trained by Qui Gonn and after Qui Gonn died,he went under the training of Master Yoda.)
Palpatine: "Are you going to kill me?"Anakin: "I would certainly like to."Palpatine: "I know you would." [closes eyes] "I can feel your anger. It gives you focus, makes you stronger."

Obi Wan is actually killing a surprised Maul,he is actually slaughtering Maul.
Now,it is about nuances; a real Jedi will try to disarm his opponent,by cutting his opponent hand.
Look at Luke, even if he is under the influence of hatred and anger he does not kill Darth Vader, but only cuts the hand of Vader.
Same, even when Anakin is under influence of hate and anger he cuts the hands of Count Dooku, not trying to kill Dooku.
So,neither Luke neither Anakin are so sinked in the dark side,to be guided by their instinct to kill their opponents.
Same with Dooku,he cuts Anakin hand. He is neither too sinked in the dark side of the force,to kill with only one hit Anakin.
Look also at Mace,he is disarming Sidious, not trying to kill him from start.
However, look at Sidious he goes directly to kill those 3 Jedi masters, not disarm them.
Because Sidious is very sinked in the dark side of the force and this is how is guided by his instinct to act.
So,actually Obi Wan is enough sinked in the dark side,to kill Darth Maul with a single hit.

My views on Star wars are not after manual, splitting characters in black (dark siders) and white (light siders).
All are humans and have flaws.Neither is fully light sider, neither is fully dark sider.
Even Sidious is liking too much Vader and this is why he dies.
The fact that Sidious is very attached to Vader is a light side thing.
Obi Wan is very attached to Qui Gonn; he sees Maul killing his master.
Normally,he is filled with anger and hatred against Maul and acts from instinct,to get revenge for killing of Qui Gonn.
But much better for Jedi order would have been if Obi Wan could have disarm and capture Darth Maul,to interrogate him.
If he could have done that,Jedis would have learned that Palpatine was a Sith Lord.

Yes. This is why he can not feel Vader/Anakin intention to take him and throw him down.
His force powers are affected by the fact he is too attached to Darth Vader/Anakin.
Quoted again from Darth Sidious, who is saving Darth Vader from death,by manipulating midi-chlorians,when Darth Vader is badly crippled by Obi Wan,but he can not save himself from death, because he trusts too much Darth Vader.
""It's ironic. He could save others from death, but not himself.""

He was quite clearly willing to let Luke kill him so he would be his new apprentice.

Well,Sidious needed some apprentice,to not be alone.
    :D
He needed to transmit the Sith legacy.
And Luke was a much better candidate to gain power, having
a healthy hand, with which he could do Force Lightning.
I guess Sidious is disappointed that Vader is not having any hand
left and lots of electric circuitry.
So Vader can not use Force Lightning which is favorite Sidious ability.

I think he was just letting (understandable) fury get the best of him. He wasn't under threat of falling to the Dark Side or anything.

Well,he does not fall under the dark side, because of the wisdom of Master Yoda.
Remember the fact that later,Master Yoda says:
    "
Yoda: Confer on you the level of Jedi Knight, the Council does. But agree with your taking this boy as your Padawan learner, I do not!
Obi-Wan Kenobi: Qui-Gon believed in him.
Yoda: The Chosen One, the boy may be. Nevertheless, grave danger, I fear in his training.
Kenobi: Master Yoda, I gave Qui-Gon my word. I will train Anakin... without the approval of the Council, if I must.
Yoda: Qui-Gon's defiance, I sense in you. Need that, you do not. Agree with you, the Council does. Your apprentice, Skywalker will be.

Luke, help me take this mask off.Luke: But you'll die!Anakin: Nothing can stop that now. How is young Anakin stays alive so much, until he had his mask put on his face?
Simple, through the dark side and also through the manipulation of midi-chlorians,done by Darth Sidious later.

I'm pretty sure that Palpatine just thinks that he has Vader under his thumb.
