    the only problem here is that ketchup only has 15 calories/tbspn with 0 grams of fat
    mayo has 90 calories/tbspn with 90 fat calories.

    One thing Americans don't need is an extra 100 calories added to anything that mayo so much as touches.

    Although put another way: If you want to reduce the calorie/fat content of your mayo, mix it with ketchup. A tablespoon blend of 55% ketchup to 45% mayo comes in at less than 50 calories, so it's a real improvement over uncut mayo. It's fundamentally the same reason why I dilute my rum with diet coke.

    So I guess my point is that Emperor_Billy_Bob is a true health and wellness guru.

    A mere burger. Meh. Imagine nicely cut strips of well-done skirt steak, put between two loaves of semi-sweet bread, then bathed in mayoketchup sauce, potato chips, lettuce, tomato and maybe even a slice of cheese if you want. MmMmMM!

    How long does mayo keep? I have a squeeze tube that's been in the fridge for about 3 years. No one in my family likes mayo. But I'm thinking of mixing up a bowl of homemade thousand island dressing for dinner.
