Is there a South American/Mexican/Spanish person in anything star wars?

I mean looks wise. We have white people galore, black people...not so galore but they're still there, and Asians, like, 3 Jedi. And a clone army of new zealanders. But i have never ever seen anyone who looked even remotely South American, Mexican or spanish. In the wideness of the star wars galaxy and the fact that there are many earth-like, multi-biome planets there, there should be these races somewhere.

I don't want political/ethical debate here, that's what the Senate is for. I just genuinely want to know if there has been one of these races in star wars. Counting all EU, everything. Halp me out here.

That's true, but I still don't think we can count him as being hispanic.

 

I don't know about the people, but the architecture on Serroco has a distinct Central American flavor to it.

 

Kiffars are a mixture of racial types; Quinlan Vos looks American Indian to most people.

 

Jimmy Smits! There's a good example. True. The Naboo guard may have some other Hispanic looking people if i'm not mistaken but i can't remember, been so long since i've seen episode one.

Quinlan Vos, yea, he is kinda native. And of course there are many aliens with elements of various earth cultures like the Nelvaan to Native americans, but that doesn't count. Same with architecture, Yavin 4 stepped pyramids and all.

Do you all think that the Empire might be racist within humanity as well as speciesist? I've never seen any imperial human that wasn't white. Correct me if i'm wrong, but it does fit their whole evil space fascist thing. And maybe Palpatine was so pissed at Mace Windu he decided to enact racist policies. Last part was kinda a joke but with a guy like Palpatine, you never know.

 

He sounds Jamaican in TCW, though.
