I got so drunk I sang karaeoke at Mooser's Pub on Champlain St. Then I got cut off drinking.

 

Me, I worked. Nothing exciting and then went down and watched the fireworks.

It's New Brunswick Day, 8:45 a.m., and I'm at work.

Not that I'm bitter or anything ...

Anyway, To everyone who winds up reading this, happy New Brunswick Day, and I hope you're having a better time than I am.

 

Well, I didn't work on NB day but I think I spent the day in the sun.

 

There shouldn't be a NB day.

 

And why is that? Alberta, British Columbia, Manitoba, Ontario, and Saskatchewan also have a civic holiday of their own. Nova Scotia has one...Natal day? Do you guys get paid time and half if you work on that day? We do here for NB day at least at the jobs I've worked.

 

Nova Scotia indeed has Natal Day and I did receive time and a half for being forced to work it.

 

LOL, if it makes you feel any better, I have to work Labor Day.

 

Not really, since I have to work Labour Day as well.

 

LOL, I was hoping to get it off since I'm in training. But no such luck.

 

I remember when this was a bustling place of activity. Now look at the corpse that is left, the bare bones of nothing. It makes me sad.

 

Everyone moved on to bigger and better things I guess. I hoped to be out of this province this time next year!
