Ryan Dunn, the 34-year-old "Jackass" star, died in a fatal car crash on Sunday night in Pennsylvania.

According to TMZ, the accident occurred at 3 a.m. on Route 322 and New Street in West Goshen Township. While it's unknown who was driving at the time, an unidentified passenger also died in the crash. The mother of Dunn's "Jackass" co-star, Bam Margera, broke the news to WMMR 93.3's "Preston and Steve" radio show, and MTV News has also confirmed it on Monday (June 20).

Yeah I just read that. Wasn't the biggest Jackass fan, but he was continually one of my favourites. Very sad. :(

R.I.P. Found him one of the more entertaining members of the group.

He just had a new TV show debut as well.

EDIT: This provoked outrage, but I think it'd be good to consider that Dunn's a murderer (probably would have been prosecuted as one had he lived) for killing his passenger.

I feel bad for the families involved but to be honest can't say this wasn't coming for one the Jackass crew. They live crazy and party hard.

Well, I'm glad they at least didn't hurt or kill anyone else. You'd hope someone in their thirties, even someone from Jackass, would understand drunk driving isn't acceptable.

If one's joke about Dunn crashes, however, one looks like a jackass.

I was reading of the outrage at Ebert's tweet. Drunk and reportedly going 110??? I'm not going to feel all that much sympathy for Dunn and like Evan said, he killed his passenger.

His friends are outraged? There were pics that night of two others with him. Perhaps that outrage should be directed at those that left him drive.

I completely agree, Frieda. There's some measure of sympathy I've got for the families involved, and the Jackass guys (losing a beloved friend of theirs), but it stops at that........a measure of sympathy. I'm a guy who likes to drink, but I do it (even when I get completely **** faced) where I know it will cause no harm to anybody (I'm a happy/pleasant drunk anyway). Whenever I get a license/start driving a car, I will never, never put myself or others in a situation to drive drunk. I wish Dunn had that in mind when he went to that bar the other night.

I'm with Leona and Tunick. I can't really find any sympathy this guy. I'm sorry for his friends and family, but that's about it.

This would have been better had you said, "Welp. I guess what's done is dunn."

This... and the guy could afford a driver - there's really no excuse. It's terribly sad, and I actually like Ryan Dunn, but yeah... tragic (and stupid).

As far as I know, they will not have toxicology reports for some time yet, so that "reported" BAC is probably bogus.

It's not so much that Ebert was wrong in what he said, as it is the timing of his comments. I mean Dunn and his passenger's bodies weren't even fresh in the morgue, let alone in their graves. That being said, I don't find Ebert's opinion on the actions wrong at all, but he could have shown a little restraint in voicing them publicly.

He probably said it because he felt bitter about having had to sit through three Jackass movies.

I actually do have sympathy for Dunn, his passenger, and their family and loved ones. I don't wish death on anyone, regardless of how much some may think their actions warranted it.

I do agree that Ebert's timing was bad and he probably should have chosen his words more carefully, but he said what a lot of us were thinking.

And again, a tragedy that could've been avoided, blah blah blah etc.
