    James Earl Jones has passed away at the age of 93.

    A ripe old age for sure but still an incredible loss. He will be deeply missed, not least by all of us Star Wars fans. Hard to imagine anybody else voicing Darth Vader as memorably as he did. JEJ made that role iconic.

    Rest in power, dear sir.

    What a career that man has had! We can only hope to be lucky enough to live as long as he did, as well as he did! And from everything I heard, he was a lovely man IRL.

    So sorry to hear about the passing of JEJ. What a legacy he leaves, not just to us Star Wars fans, but to cinema and the world in general.

    His career spanned an incredible 70 years and he helped to break down so many boundaries.

    But as Star Wars fans we can't forget that he delivered perhaps the most iconic line in cinema history.

    RIP James Earl Jones. Rest well. @};-

    The man was the voice everyone imagined for their platonic ideal of their dad, and a shockingly great actor who would always stun Millenials when they realized he was the guy from the Sandlot.

    I just got done hiking at Skinner Butte when I heard the news. The great JEJ will be missed, but living to ninety-three is awesome. RIP to the legend!

    As much as I admire his voice work for Darth Vader, my favorite film of his will always be Field of Dreams. Rest in peace, sir. :(
