Jango Fett RIP

Just been to see AOTC - i thought Jango's demise was SO funny - got trampled by a big creature then Mace decapitates him!

Should he have had a better death, or did he get what he deserved?

It caught me completely by suprise. It was corny, but in the right way...

 

jango is such a punk....i'm so glad he went out like that....everyone is so hype about an assassain....but he really is a cowardly punk....

 

It was the rhino that really did him in. He was dazed, more than likely had numerous internal injuries, his rocket pack was unavailable and he had only one blaster to fire at Windu.

He had two with Kenobi, and Obi-Wan still got to him.

Jango was in deep poodu.

 

what i want to know is why his head didn't fall out of his helmet when boba picked it up.

Man..when Jango's head came off, the first words out of my mouth to my friend next to me was "Holy **** he cut his ******* head off!"

Cursing is not allowed and will get you banned, edit it out as I've shown you

 

Yeah, him getting trampled was quite funny, in a weird, twisted way. I personally didnt expect the decapitation so soon. Poor guy. He didnt exactly have the advantage in that battle.

 

What I liked about it was that Mace walked right up to him almost effortlessly and takes him out.

 

I hope that teached him a lesson about what happens when you mess with Mace.

Also, if you look hard enough, right when Jango is decapitated, you can see the head fly out of the helmet.

 

Yeah - Mace didn't even break into a sweat, cos HE THE MAN.

if he has to die in Ep 3 lets hope he has a good death scene....

 

I don't think he went out like a punk. If we didn't see him in action before, I would have, though.

But we saw he kicks butt, and with so much chaos going on, I doubt any non-Jedi could save himself.

EDIT: Sorry for not being clear, I'm a bit tired. What I meant to say is: Boba was hyped up, but we never really saw him in action. Jango we saw how cool he was, and when he died, I thought: Well at least I know that he actually was capable of handling himself.

 

At least he didn't get knocked into the Sarlaac screaming like a little school girl...

HELP!!!

I know there was a thread on this, I just couldn't find it, so this one seemed most appropriate...

Since Jango was the clone source, yet was fighting with Dooku, how did the Jedi not pick up on this? Or is this the first clue leading to suspicions of Palpatine?

Answers would be GREATLY appreciated for I have wondered this since I left the theater.

I think it is degrating how both Fett's die in weird ways.
Jango gets trampled by the rhino ting, then decapitated.
Boba accidently is hit into the sarlaac pit.

Geeze, give at least 1 Fett a noble death!

 

At least Boba keeps the family tradition going....

 

I think Jango dying so easily makes Boba's death more acceptable. Had Jango flown around and been hard to kill it would've made Boba seem even more whimpy. But no Jango wasn't even caught off guard like Boba and died quickly and easily. I think the Fett's are great trackers but really poor fighters.

 

I am most pissed about hte supposed cut scenes of Boba plancing Jango's helmet on his head, using his jetpack and flying away.

Yeah, I was quite annoyed about the supposedly cut 'Boba flying away' scene aswell. It was among the things I was waiting for when the arena battle started and it never came. At least we got the shot of Boba and Jango's helmet, which was chilling on it's own. I was getting worried because I thought that the last shot of Boba might end up being that one just after Jango is decapitated.

Oh well.

 

You have to remember this people.

Jedi vs. Bounty Hunter.

Obi-Wan and Windu are Jedi...Jango is a bounty hunter.

Jedi have the force and lightsabres and insight into the future....Bounty hunters don't have that at all.

Jedi....Bount Hunters. Force users and non Force Users. Who's better?

 

Mace should have been shouting "WHO'S THE DADDY?!" when he killed Jango - i wanted more of SLJ kicking robot @ss in AOTC. But his character was a big improvement on his screen time in TPM
