Not so sure about this and also, Mace and Yoda wanted to question Jango. Kind of hard to do that when he is dead.
Why did Jango jump down into that massive fight?
If he was angry at Mace for holding a weapon at his throat it still seems very risky to jump down into that meat-grinder.

Lastly, having Mace kill Jango lacks something. Obi-Wan fought Jango, first directly then in space. Or rather Obi-Wan had to avoid being killed.
But the film set them up as enemies but then Mace gets the kill.
It would have been a bit more satisfying if Obi-Wan fought Jango another time now he gets the win.

In closing, not about Jango, the film set up Mace and Dooku, they talked a bit in the arena.
So I think it might have been cool to see them fight each other in the hangar.
The Yoda fight was neat but to me, it got old fast.

    Bye for now.

I sort of liked that Obi-Wan goes against Jango twice and loses twice. It shows exactly why Jango was picked to be a clone template for an army that is later supposed to kill the Jedi.

I also can't help but notice that the one Jedi who actually does succeed in killing Jango (Mace) later gets dealt with by Palpatine himself.

Well Jango kills another Jedi on Geonosis, the hammer head looking Jedi. And that one was a Jedi Master I think.
And Jango took him out with ease. Also, when Jango fought Obi-Wan on Kamino, he had Boba and his ship fire it's guns at Obi-Wan. The setting must have been really low given what little impact they had.
So Jango had help with Obi-Wan and still could not kill him. He only manages to get away but Obi-Wan managed to put a tracker on his ship.

As for Mace, in their fight, Mace wins, (don't start with the argument, look at the thread we have.) Mace is killed when Anakin cuts off his hand and he is then wide open.
So I think the connection here is tenuous at best.

    Bye for now.

Oh, I don't think the connection I made was in any way planned by GL. It's just something unintentional that sort of works.

...well, if you consider a decapitation ""winning""" [face_laugh]

    That thread is wild, btw.

I really liked the Jango Fett character and how they implemented him and Boba into the PT, this was actually very impressive. So now Boba, who we all read a backstory to the Clone Wars can now relate to having more than a hand (complete body) in the process. I liked not knowing Boba's look and felt this could've been left out to keep mysterious.

Jango should of had more action but at least we get hand to hand combat showing his gadgets and jetpack. Then we see a space fight finally seeing the Slave 1. The icing on the cake would've been seeing him bring in more Mandalorians into battle against the Jedi.
