In the room with the generator that you had to crouch to get into, kill the enemies. Over the other side is a console showing a map of the base. Press the 2 buttons to light up parts of it. To the left of the console is a wall display showing the blue code. Look at it and it will be stored in your datapad. You will need it later. Now leave the room via the shielded door (there is a button to remove the shield), go up the stairs and follow it round to the left.

    I have a question!

The Nar Shardda hideout level. The room on the ground floor of the main garbage room, there's a room with glass panelling halving it, the one you enter to go down that tunnel to push that wagon. Crates and a control panel are on the other side. It's obviously a secret area, but how do you access it?

    Any ideas?

Sure, you're welcome. I pretty much remember the whole game, so if you need help on any level (apart from those damn Nar Shaddaa levels), just PM me.

Need help with some codes. Just past the trams i came to a room with red, blue, and green codes (shapes) and I don't know which shapes to use. I went down the elevator and found the little rooms with the different shapes but I don't know the right shape.

Look at your data pad. It tells you what the shapes look like. If you're playing Xbox it's the back button.

Hey I'm renting this game and it is...just so good I can't describe it. I had to use cheats to get past the Nar Shadda part cuz I couldnt find the ceiling door opener, I didnt know what to do at the first face off with Dessan, and I kept on getting caught in the stealth part of the Doom level. Combined with the upcoming Rogue Squadron 3, its hands-down the best Star Wars game ever. By itself, it has the best lightsaber action I've ever seen. Awesome.

I just got Jedi Outcast for my new PC. It was marked down to $20 (for a new one, not used).

Is the game much different on PC than it would be on the GameCube? If you've had a chance to play both, which one did you like best?

P.S. Thanks for the link to the walkthrough! :)

The single player is identical between GC & PC. So walkthroughs are teh same for all versions.

The GC's cutscenes though, are like "movies" taken from the PC version.

And the PC version has the ability to add user made mods (skins, levels, weapons etc) and has online play for MP, where I assume the GC has split screen MP?

I'm new here, hello, I've been playing Outcast for about 2 months now and I'm pretty proficient, just beat Jedi Knight moving on to Jedi Master, can't wait for Jedi Academy to come out, anyway, back to business.
To answer the Nar Shadaa secret question,
    "Find the stack of
crates near the wall, then drop down between them and the wall, and hit your
Use key while facing the wall. A secret panel should open up." Copied and pasted from Azraelot's FAQ, excellent FAQ by the way. I never got the secret to work myself, but maybe that helps. On to my question to other players.
Has anyone beaten Desann without using the machine that gives temporary invincibility? I mean on Jedi Knight or Master, though, thanks.

    There's an invincibility machine?

Can you still beat him by saber throwing the pillars, and squashing him underneath as they tumble?

I did this in the "default" difficulty level, whatever that's called.

On both sides of the chamber are two exposed tiles at the top, walk up to each and force push and a machine rises out of the ground and generates a beam that makes you invincible for I think maybe 15 seconds. Naturally I just squash Desann under pillar though. :D

I need help at the end, the level where you face Desann. How do you get to him? There are three passageways he leads you into. One passageway makes you fall to your death. Another makes you die by going through the flames, so the only way (from what I've gathered) you can get to him is by trying to get past the mirror that blocks your path. But how can you get past it?

    > Another makes you die by going through the flames,

This is the way you go. You need to put the flames out.

If only there was some water around, eh? :p

I guess my next obvious question would be, how do I put the flames out? :D

on korriban in the tomb of naga shadow there is a door and the only way to get past it is to solve sort of a puzzle by moving around energy rings to unlock it.

but if you mess up once you die. it seems pretty much impossible to me and all the startegy guides only go up to tatoonie for some reason.
